Did you ever do part 2 of the roticlean vs the basic filter floss kit from reef nutrition? The comments were disabled and I couldn't find it. Was wondering which you thought was best and if the roticlean filter is worth it vs the basic kit
I did more than a dozen videos on phytoplankton and rotofers. I did a few different filter mediums for rotofers but it was a couple years ago and not sure what ones I did. I don’t culture them anymore as the place I was renting the AC died and the landlord didn’t want to replace it. After the 4th repair and failure again I was done losing all my cultures, corals and live rock I was culturing
Currently I use Tropic Marin. I was using the TM Pro but switched. The reason for the switch is, I like the TM salt but why pay $25-$30 more for the same salt with just some Alk and calcium levels different. I dose anyway so I don’t need to pay more for levels I can obtain myself just as easy and far cheaper. As for how long, I like to mix at least 24 hrs before I use it. I know at 8 hrs it’s usable but I like to make sure. Hope this helps.

Just a guess but did you sterilize them containers and clean your heads well?
