Peri doesn't get it, Juliet lied to protect her because she knew it would just break her heart if she was dating a dying woman. I agree though that telling everyone when you sick is better because it would be more heartbreaking if someone you love found out you were dead the next day and had no idea you was sick in the first place.
i think she understands now why Juliet pushed her away and I believe she will stick by Juliet through her treatment and being a nurse maybe she can help her better now

Both reactions are realistic. With Nadira, it is expected for Nadira to be supportive after she previously lost her patience with Juliet for not meeting her Dad. She must have felt bad about it when she found out. I'm glad they didn't villainise Nadira just because she got between Juliet and Peri. I used to think she'd be the obsessive type after she hurt Peri's arm but her arranged meet up with Peri proved me wrong, displaying Nadira's growth. I was about to lose patience with Peri because of the way she reacted but I can see this is affecting her too. Denial is a common response to times like this and she doesn't want to believe this is happening to Juliet. I'm glad she came around after her talk with Ste. And let's not forget how Juliet only recently stepped out of that denial after her cancer diagnosis. Part of the reason she kept it a secret was because she didn't want to believe that this is happening to her. It must have been a huge step for Juliet to tell her mum and admit to Peri she's struggling to keep up the tough act in the same day!

We must cherish each moment we have with our loved ones, because they can easily disappear, and you can never get another chance again.

The original reason with Ste was with the lies Juliet had spoken very recently. Juliet probably wanted to believe her but had doubts due to the lies. Ste showed her what she needed. The reassurance while not hating on her. She was there at the end showing that once she was told the truth, her denial had gone.
