Dear Ari the rules to get work in USA is not like the Caribbean. Thus, like most immigrants u start at bottom. Today is somewhat easier as countries see the need for skill workers thus making the process somewhat easy. Eg there are state exams so u have to pass those exams yo qualify to work in that state.

He’s so right in that never take ya yute to foreign at a young age. Especially if you’re going from one ghetto to another. And what’s funny is that all three ah Dem didn’t get it.
If you get in trouble, because it’s the only life you know, and now is facing deportation to a country you born in but never grow. As a Caribbean yute growing up in NY after leaving USVI. Back then we West Indians would stick together. Almost all of my bredrens got dep’d. I came to NY at 12. Some of them as babies. They are going to country they don’t know to a culture they don’t know. I’m fortunate in that my island is a part of the US. I’m almost positive that Pelpa Time coming back to Jamaica was a culture shock. There are some people that leave at 12 and gets deported at 60 yrs old. Big up Geezy.
