Great show at Weston don’t know if you seen me I was near the end where you turned off the sea front into the road with premier inn on I was on the opposite side stood up on a small wall next to my bike where there was a row of people with camping seats I must of got to a370 about 11 pm so by time I got back it was about 2pm, quite a lot of car drivers forgot to put their headlights on so was flashing them to let them know, can I say a big thankyou to all the car drivers who passed me safely on the way to Weston and back home to Bristol see you next year 😁🚴🏼♂️🥶
You may of done I had my fluorescent waistcoat hanging off my handlebar while I was watching it, I’m used to cycling in the rain however quite agree it wouldn’t of been nice cycling home in wet weather, certainly an experience traveling a370 at night, see you next year 😊 maybe do a Christmas theme next year 🎄🎅🏻⛄️

Does it take all year to work on the float? And what do you do with all the parts you remove just wondering lol. Great filming you are clearly a young man with a lot of knowledge about alot of things well done 🤗🤗
Just a heads up it’s a cart not a float when the carnivals first started they had no lights or music it was just people in a cart pulled by horses a horse and cart and it stuck all those years after

Pretty much all year, but most of it gets done in September/October. We reuse as much as we can next year.

Inline crimp joints and adhesive lined heat shrink would have been a lot more professional and not really cost any more.
