I had cats and dogs once. I would crack an egg and mix a tablespoon of olive oil into their dry food. This gives them plenty of extra protein and a beautiful shiny coat.

Hi Becky! I was just curious about your Horse Seed mixture that you made. Have you ever tried a Fodder System before, using this exact same method? Soak the seeds for about 24 hours until they sprout. Apple Cider Vinegar helps to prevent mold growth for any bad bacteria that may be on the seeds. Grow the seeds out into a Grass which is ready anywhere between 6-8 days, depending on the seeds used. This Fodder can be used for Horses, Pigs, Chickens, Rabbits, etc... And provides better nutrition through the sprouted grass than what just the seeds/grains can give. If you've ever tried a Fodder System, I would love to see a video on this as to whether you do/don't like it. I'm still learning about Fodder, and always value your opinion! You have awesome videos! Really love your Channel!
This is one of favorite videos...wow! This is my secret dream to have a homestead with just a few animals and would I loooove to have a place like this so my little chihuawa/greyhound mix to run all over the place..she loves all animals, she's so loving!!! Thanks for sharing💗💗💗
I adore this lady, she's an inspirational hero. I could listen to her beautiful voice talking about anything. She's brilliant and her animals look so happy.
Becky I think your absolutely wonderfull, I've been watching you now on u tube for a year, on my TV....I just learned how to comment on my kindle, not very computer suave...lol...but I'm learning...I'd love to talk with you on how you got started on your weight loss journey ,and your homestead...I think your great and living the dream...thanks for being you and not a phoney.. Jeannie Noll, from c.a......originally long island ,n.y...
Ive loved watching your videos Becky. I want a homestead. I’m so inspired by you. I over heard you say you are in FL and so am I!!! I wish I could “intern” with you and learn all about how you homestead. You make it look so easy!
I love your set up! Everything is so neat an organized. And as someone who is big into the horse side of things, your horse (and donkey and mule) look amazing!
+Eureka Acres Thanks, LOVE my horses the most. We just lump them all under "horses" instead of saying pony, donkey, mule every time. ❤️😀 but Charlie my mule is my favorite ❤️❤️
Hi Becky, I have 10 chickens a rooster and 4 dogs, takes me about 10 minutes to feed them in morning, you have a great routine and seem to be very organised, which is key when you have a small holding. Great work, love your channel
Kaye Schlenert I have 3 separate chicken coops 1-half grown chickens 2-average chickens 3- Bantam chickens Also, I have 4 dogs, and 3 cats to feed, every animal group gets fed separately It takes me 30mins to feed them
Miss Becky, I love your videos I vicariously live through them . In hopes that one day I will be able to have the same lifestyle. Thanks for all your encouragement. Love from Atlanta Georgia
I love seeing how happy tbe animals are on your homestead.I have started using the DME for my chickens, but have not done the vinegar. What does that do?I used to have a dachsund who would only eat if she was sitting on carpet, which is funny because she lived outside in a kennel when i got her.
christie> IDK what our Becky would say, but to answer you myself> DE is wonderful to kill parasites & larvae & cleanse colons of debris but Vinegar, on other hand, is to alkalinize for health balance>
Larger dogs need elevated feeding bowls, that's why he lies down. It is uncomfortable to eat with bend legs! ;) I have big dogs (Irish wolfhound and German shepherd) and both of them prefer eating from elevated surfaces. I used to just put a bowl on a stool or an old chair, it worked. Now we have fancy bowl stand for one and a step at the front door for the other. Also - have you tried feeding your dogs raw foods? I am a big fan of yours, you remind me of lady that was my best friend when I was growing up. :)
It was not my intention to try to change anyone, just an idea. :) You said you don't know why he does it, so I think it's because he doesn't want to bend his legs to eat. That's all. My dogs eat raw meat and they always lay down to eat bigger pieces or bones, so I understand you. Also, wolfhounds are much taller than most dogs, so that is something I have to consider. All of your animals look adorable and healthy, so you obviously know what you're doing. Take care! :)
You should get turkeys that would be interesting because I have turkeys and its impossible to keep them in their pen, and the pen might be slightly bigger than your horse pen, also if you are still reading this, I need tips on potbellies, how do you keep them from digging out of their pen
Ok, so you give Charlie, Thunder, and Doodles, 1 can of crimped oats, 1 can of alfalfa pellets, hay and pasture 24/7! And they each get 1 can to eat. is this once or twice a day? I am trying to figure out how to feed my horse that is coming soon! And they all look so healthy! Thanks for the informative videos!
Oh that's great! Even though I will miss seeing him in your videos, I'm happy for him and his new home. That's one lucky young man. Woody is adorable! Thanks so much.
Not an animal question, but was wondering what upkeep your log home takes. A log cabin is my dream homestead home, but my forestry ranger friend tells me there's too much upkeep to a log home. Since you haven't mentioned it, I was wondering what you think. Thanks!
These kind of videos are my favorite!
Susan Holland do you watch 10 acre woods

+KatherineNoir Who cares if he lays down to eat. Wolves lay down to eat. I let my animals be themselves. If it's not broken, don't fix it. ❤️😀

Your homestead looks so perfect and organized. All in order and seems like you're finished with all your building projects. I love it!!!
I'm from Florida and I'm living in TN now. I miss the accent. So cute!
Green legs doesn't mean it will lay green eggs. It depends more on the ear lobes. Where did you get your new chicks?
