Inter Miami’s defence is atrocious. It’s the only thing holding them back from being one of the best teams in the MLS. They need to improve in that area because Messi is gonna miss a ton of games this season
Edit: For those asking Messi will most likely miss games around March 23rd and 26th (international friendlies), June/July (Copa America), July/August (Olympics if he decides to compete there), mid-November (World Cup Qualifiers). On top of that, if Miami keeps going deeper into the CONCACAF champions cup, then Messi will most likely miss more games like he did yesterday vs Montreal.

you would think Tata Martino has learned it by now, he always lose games playing formation 3-5-2, why not just stick to 4-3-3 and fill in the slots. why overload the midfield when you have slow and weak defensive players makes no sense. If Messi has a injury and takes him out for the whole season. Inter Miami will be at the bottom again like the previous year. Miami have enough talent to play 4-3-3 with or without Messi, too bad Tata cant see it.

Many people say Miami's back is terrible but from What we see so far Even the front line is bad, they need to train more on finisher shoot, look how many chances they miss from previous matches just because poor finisher.
It would be hard time for Miami, the one and only way for them to won MLS title is to secure Win as much as they can and avoiding losing matches when Messi still with them, Because as you can see how terrible they are when Messi wasn't not around especially when they facing strong teams

To make room under the salary cap. They've now sold their 4 players who had the highest salaries before Messi arrived. Some of this they used to bring in Suarez. They now have some more space to bring in more new players. They must have someone in mind, otherwise it would have made no sense to sell Yedlin now.
