Don't get me wrong, this is 2018 and this still sounds very modern while pulling on rave synths. Its not gonna be the same. Just like The Prodigy has evolved
The complexity of the drums in this track are what make it such a banger. I didn't know Moby had such aggression on the inside with this track. It's so beautiful
time to shock you, moby started out as a punk/rock guy and entered dance as a secondary thing. the vast majority of people see him as a dance/pop guy. shame really as he knows his stuff and has some umph when needed.
I'm speechless. Seeing Pendulum and Moby in one title is one thing but making it a perfection is another. I was kind of worried if he can pull this off, yet Moby delivered. Tons of respect
This is special right here, seeing Moby - an artist I've been hearing since I was really young in the tail end of the 90s aged 7 and above be in the same title as Pendulum - the boys i picked up in around 2006 or so and have gone on to be the driving force behind my most beloved genre in the EDM/Bass music scene - to have those two together is an honest blessing. Phenomenal work Moby, didn't doubt you at all, such an astonishing atmosphere and the fact that it keeps the DnB is just godly. Whew album highlight right here.
*Gordl V* I was born in 1993, and first heard Moby's music in the late 90s / early 2000s - I can't quite remember which it is. But who cares which it is, point is an artist I've been hearing since I was really young remixing Pendulum, an artist that arguably started the driving force for my love for DnB in the same title is emotional to me. Same feeling I got for the Friction remix of Fatboy Slim's Right Here Right Now. Takes me to my childhood. If you doubt that you go ahead. Nobody know my childhood more than myself so you crack on chief.
James Cheeks Don't listen to that guy, he looks like a Poundland Dimension 😛 But yeah I agree, my parents had Moby's albums 18 and Play when I was a kid. My mum was pretty surprised when I stuck this on the other day and said it's a Moby remix of Pendulum 😂
Dude, same here! I was born in ‘91 but still had pretty much the exact same experience. When Moby’s “Play” was released in ‘99 I was blow away and officially hooked on electronic music from then on.
James Cheeks My God are you a walking talking music history book. I’ve been following Pendulum since that time as well, but I never knew Moby lasted this long. Tells me that there are many more loyal electronic music fans today than I expected. Good story
I was very intrigued to hear what Moby could do with such a big jump-up dnb anthem.. but I was totally blown away by this.. loved the original when it came out (had it on the King of the rollers vinyl EP) but this really does out-do the original.. far more interesting and melodic.. this has real depth.. those strings!! the vocal snippets! This is pure class! By far the best track on the Pendulum reworks LP!
Moby's given it this nice 90s vibe, kinda wish he'd do more stuff like this instead of just releasing tracks about how miserable he is, but that's just me.
Personally I find his stuff more refreshing to the scene, I listen to lots of emotional music myself & most songs nowadays are about flowers & parties & euphoria ...
Deiki-kun the guy made a few club songs in the 90s so he's probably heard the genre a few times and possibly even experiments with it a few times (even if he didn't release any of the experiments)
Mister Ambulance Driver Moby can be pretty great with atmosphere when he wants to be, Porcelain is a good example of this, it's a much slower song but the atmosphere is really immersive.
Enjoyed this remix, for the fact that it gave a different spin on the original but waited 6 mins for a drop - where was it, it kept building and building and then ended. Still love it none the less :)
So yeah, after having listened to all the remixes this one and the Attlas remixes take the cake, hands down! These and the Icarus one are such awesome work amidst a big pile of poop
He is 52 years old and drops this banger of a remix!!! Never to late!
we live in hope
He is still young
Never thought i'd see Moby doing dnb, i'm so glad this happened
Oh yeah Moby has definitely had this edge over the years, his earlier stuff. This feels so classic Moby its unreal :)
Then i must find all those early rave/jungle stuff. Like whaaat, i never knew that!
Don't get me wrong, this is 2018 and this still sounds very modern while pulling on rave synths. Its not gonna be the same. Just like The Prodigy has evolved
Even look at Bodyrock (breakbeat) and Machete (pulsating techno) from the 'Go' album. Thats a start

With the original vault I always think I'm flying in a sunny day. With this version now I'm flying trough the infinite universe
Infinite multiverse more like 😊

listen to go rainforest mix and youll understand that he always had a wild side :P
Complexity of the drums? This is a pretty generic bit of 2 step dnb, there's nothing complex about this.
This is the most legendary of them all.
Devin did it.
I'm speechless. Seeing Pendulum and Moby in one title is one thing but making it a perfection is another. I was kind of worried if he can pull this off, yet Moby delivered. Tons of respect
That drum fill in the background is just phenomenal.
Such a shame Moby isn't a full-time Drum and Bass producer (although his non-DnB is generally class anyway). Remix of the year for me. Outstanding.
Such a gorgeously mixed track to bring it back to a 90s DnB vibe. Some lovely Prodigy-esque glints in it as well!
Yeah I was just thinking the same thing. Kinda gives me flashbacks to Climbatize.
SAME! I'm loving the classic Prodigy and Moby vibes on this one!
finally a proper dnb remix. so dope
i enjoy this SO much more than Noisia god awful remix of Hold Your Colour
Efggggmllllaaaqf
Still banging in 2021.
The Future of DnB right here.
Master101 the past?
Agreed
@@Lahiret come on
Holy sh** Moby! Might be my favorite remix on the album. These oldschool vibes are absolutely intoxicating!
Moby putting out those fire tracks since forever!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Now this is a remix! Holy hell, the melody itself is unique. The atmosphere this gives off is just a whole other level.

James Cheeks Cool story Mr.James.

This is the best tune out of all tunes on the album period. Great work.
This is one of the best songs I have ever heard.
You need an open mind and plenty of experience with electronic music to create something incredible like this. What a tune man!
This is my running music!!
With this beat you can break limits
Kuba Jastrzębski
I broke the limits with this beat! I aim to go further with this!!
Moby plus DNB with some Neurosounds? WOW! Added to the list
One of the only remixes that I prefer over the original
Great Remaster work...
This song is a Masterpiece ! Such an astonishing atmosphere !
Am I really listening to music or my headphones are emmiting god rays? Best track on the ENTIRE album
God rays, haha nice one. It's all God's rays somehow
Been jamming' to this for a few years now, probably the greatest thing Moby had done in almost 20 years
Brilliant - and fantastic audio engineering...the soundstage is incredible on an Atmos setup
I heard drums. I heard bass. I heard drums and bass. I liked it. I appreciated it. It was epic.
what a remix, this legendary track deserved it !!
Ох, Ричард Мелвилл Холл, ты не перестаешь сочно звучать!!! From Russia with sweetest Lo_Ove !

Best remix from whole album, this is what i expected, mid 2000 vibes
didnt know this gem!! wow amazing
It is impossible to take this tune in,in just one listen....keep listening and so much more comes to light :)
Moby more than did this classic justice. Absolutely fucking annihilates every other track in the Reworks, holy christ.
And this one sounds so good
The most underrated tune of the album. Considering that is Moby behind this.
Only track i've liked out of them all. And what a banging piece, well done.
This is the best band them ever see the world,PENDULUM FOREVER!!
I never ever thought Moby would do DNB, that's so awesome
Properly fresh, thanks
Wow Mobydude, didn't expect this from you!
Has a The Prodigy - Weather Experience thing about it, I like it thou, didnt expect it
DJDannyIntro thanx for seeing it! Prodigy/90s
Exactly what i thought
ill take your brain to another dimension
Holy hell this one has me hyped
this was very unexpected but I like it !

i love how he used the chiptune-style melody of the intro to a much greater effect than just keeping it in the intro!
Absolute brilliance
Moby always magic,
with this he prooves that he's absolutly not a relic of the past electronic music scene
Heaven
Moby, you're awesome
bass on point, banger
Moby's given it this nice 90s vibe, kinda wish he'd do more stuff like this instead of just releasing tracks about how miserable he is, but that's just me.
lmao
You got a point there.
Life isn't just giggles and laughs
@@SadMonkeyz935 True, but it's not a constant onslaught of depression either.

phenomenal remix of one of my favorite tunes
Being old enough to have heard both moby n pendulum's debut tracks. Mad genius good
fuck.. this is one of the most amazing dnb tracks i ever heard. The drop is amazing
This is complex tune ❤
Really feeling this one!
Я когда увидел , что это Moby после прослушивания у меня аж челюсть отвисла! Настоящий полёт сквозь вселенные и даже дальше..!!❤👽

Phenomenal, would have liked some more variation though
Really dig the IDM vibes
Moby doing Drum & Bass, lol... So holydamn good to be the first time (It is his first time I think). Great.
Deiki-kun the guy made a few club songs in the 90s so he's probably heard the genre a few times and possibly even experiments with it a few times (even if he didn't release any of the experiments)
He made this banger back in 1994: ruclips.net/video/IUJsCvsuhbg/видео.html
He did some jungle tunes in the early nineties ruclips.net/video/PFFN2m44MIE/видео.html
This one is so great!
Sick. Kaleidoscopic.
Aww fucking love this!
Ты опередил своё время! Браво
this is so fucking good
Moby always know how to cheers me up. Its magnificent. Big up
This song is solid gold. So unique and atmospheric.

FING PERFECT!
@1:07 Very Prodigy like! Love it!
Getting some Toonami bump vibes from this song.
Almost got a freaking speeding ticket blasting this in my car. And for...speeding👀needless to say this song has some *energy*
