Hey buckin rob here, I have a question if you don't mind if you have a tree with side lean do you think that over sighting the aim or using a tapered hinge is best . I've used both, and had both techniques work. I was just wondering your opinion. I know your busy , as always thanks be safe.
Ya no R.C great question it really depend on each individual situation as im sure you'll relate, species , is the main aspect,,what the fibre is, like holdin capabilities, also repercussions of failure. ya no all that. but if ya no yer woods it help Personally, when over sighting , I stay on the stump and play with hinge and if its goin to high ill cut it off they are both great techs, I like some thing i can contro .. of coarse i speak of if there were consequences of failure ,, damage, i hope this helps, takin' a little piece of the under cut and slipping in the bottom i quite enjoy as well similar to tapered cut . love and health to you sir
