      Esses fluídos ocorrem em função do alcoolismo? Moro no Brasil, aqui dificilmente vemos vídeos assim. A maioria é estrangeiro. Minha curiosidade sempre foi o que causava isso. Esses dias vi um vídeo que tiraram 15lt de líquido do abdômen de um senhor.

    I had fluid build-up in my abdomen a couple of months ago after I had surgery on my bowel for diverticulitis. They stuck JP drains in me to extract the fluid. I had that done 3 times, and I also have an ileostomy bag which will be reversed within the next couple of months or so. I'm doing much better too!

      Definitely lidocaine is needed...the peritoneal lining has nociception and can be very painful. The pain is not just when you puncture,the cannula will remain for a while as well ,so it's cruel not to numb the site. I agree that a bedside ultrasound is needed to be sure u don't injure the intestine and other internal organs.

      @MedixMedicine  Год назад

      @@medmed66643 It is not forbidden. But it is recommended to perform it in the left side. Because the risk of hurting the appendix and liver is possible in the right side. But sometimes depending upon the patient's conditions such as existing the bed sore and being unable to stay in a right position, we might do it in the right side. The risk of injury to the internal organ in experienced hands, is typically less than 1%. The risk of complications can be further reduced by using imaging techniques such as ultrasound or CT scan to guide the procedure and by ensuring that the procedure is performed by a trained medical professional.
