May I know the reason why water is filled in stomach for cancer patients
As someone whos had this done many times, i just wanna say if your struggling with alcoholism please get help before it gets to this point. It really takes a toll on your body.
I’m at this point. I don’t know if I should go
@D D to the hospital? Yes 100%. I remember being so swollen and could barely get up. I was convinced that alcohol was the only way out. I'm coming up 3 years sober soon and You know what...this sober life ain't so bad after all ❤️
Esses fluídos ocorrem em função do alcoolismo? Moro no Brasil, aqui dificilmente vemos vídeos assim. A maioria é estrangeiro. Minha curiosidade sempre foi o que causava isso. Esses dias vi um vídeo que tiraram 15lt de líquido do abdômen de um senhor.
Mines from fatty liver disease. I'm hoping I can reverse it with good diet and exercise.
@@dkillahster how are you doing??
I had fluid build-up in my abdomen a couple of months ago after I had surgery on my bowel for diverticulitis. They stuck JP drains in me to extract the fluid. I had that done 3 times, and I also have an ileostomy bag which will be reversed within the next couple of months or so. I'm doing much better too!

Glad to hear you're on the mend! A family member went through something similar with a portion of the bowel removed in a life threatening bowel/diverticulitis incident, we were worried they would need surgery for stoma / colostomy bag but so thankful that was avoided, would have impacted their life greatly.
SO happy you're doing so much better. Things WILL continue to get better. Thanks SO much for sharing. God bless. All the very best.
My doctor recommended to drink 2 cups of Nyack coffee a day it gets rid of fatty liver and water build up without that pain

I had also ascites because of abdominal tb but the fluid wasn't able to be extracted due to i guess omental thickening but the moment they injected the injection for an attempt it was so painful 😖 May god protect us from such disease 😭

I like how the patient jumped at 1:29 and they cut to new video. I'm guessing the Lidocaine wasn't enough.
What symptoms did you all have? How do you know you had this issue? Having abdomen issues but don’t know what it is.
Search in RUclips fluid wave which is the maneuver for diagnosing ascites, usually is secondary to hepatic insufficiency due to alcoholic or non alcoholic liver disease. Low platelets, prolonged pt ptt low albumin can also help to diagnose
❤😮
Right side? I’ve never done it at the right
You should go left in case of hepatomegalia
I canula has 1 needle. But you inject 4 time lidocain. Instead of 1 time canula
Great. Please elaborate is it exactly at Mac burns point where we should insert the needle?
I have read it in BDC it is point between umbilicus and mid ing point

You'll need to check it with Echocardiogram first. To see how deep you can go without hitting any organs inside.
can the patient drive after this?
Good thx sir
Which inj u have given before ascites tapping
Lidocaine
Kya nikal rhe hai ?
Bahut achhi video hai sir....Punarnava churna from Planet ayurveda are really good results on decreased the ascites
Can you tell me What should we eat and drink, and what should we stop drink and food???
This disease has nothing to do with diet. But avoiding alcohol consumption and liver toxic nutrients can help us protect our liver and kinda prevent this disease.
Sir did you gave anesthesia before this procedure could t give reply sir
Just lidocaine is enough. Anesthesia is not necessary
A mi en el hospital me ponene anestesia, sufro un poco ahí,pero después cuando comienza a salir el líquido ya no
Is this filmed in a developing country? Just curious
Definitely
How does the hole in the internal stomach heal..? Automatically..?
Yes. It requires nothing. Just in case the patient has coagulation disorders, you might need use pressure dressing for a while
Lidocaine is local anaesthetia??
Ha bhai lidocaine is a local anaesthesia hai
Nothing seems to be right here... Please why the ponction is done in the right lower abdomen where risk is major of hitting organs, with such a big catheter an no echography before? Don't you fear a fatal hemoperitona? is lidocaine injections necessary for such a quick gest? Nothing seems to be correct but if you show me studies I will change my mind :) thank you
Thanks
Definitely lidocaine is needed...the peritoneal lining has nociception and can be very painful. The pain is not just when you puncture, the cannula will remain for a while as well ,so it's cruel not to numb the site. I agree that a bedside ultrasound is needed to be sure u don't injure the intestine and other internal organs.
ok but dont all skin disinfectants need to air dry for proper disinfecting?
Sterilized gauze was used to dry it out.
Please upload therapeutic paracentesis too
We will, as soon as related patients visit us 😊
@@MedixMedicine Thanks
Isnt it in the left lower quadrant help..
Both lower quadrants are preferred equally
@@MedixMedicine Here in Hungary doctors teach it is forbidden to remove fluid at McBurney cuz it can damage appendix. Instead Anti-McBurney point is the right place to remove fluid.
@@medmed66643 It is not forbidden. But it is recommended to perform it in the left side. Because the risk of hurting the appendix and liver is possible in the right side. But sometimes depending upon the patient's conditions such as existing the bed sore and being unable to stay in a right position, we might do it in the right side. The risk of injury to the internal organ in experienced hands, is typically less than 1%. The risk of complications can be further reduced by using imaging techniques such as ultrasound or CT scan to guide the procedure and by ensuring that the procedure is performed by a trained medical professional.
Y ur injecting lidocaine any ways ur pricking needle only..?
Sometimes you need to try several times to get access to the ascitic fluid. Therefore it is better to use local anesthesia first
Loool why do you keep reinserting the needle when you could have just used the cap to begin with
How many ml of lidocaine is that you use
3mg i remember
@@MedixMedicine okay sir
@@MedixMedicine what if is 10 litters that you have to drain how many mg of lidocaine will I use because I saw you only drain a little only out
What causes this
Too many reasons. Some common of them are liver cirrhosis, heart failure, kidney diseases, cancer, Malnutrition, peritonitis and ...

does it create hole in stomach ? can patient eat after the Procedure ?
The hole is not in the stomach and doesn't penetrate the gastrointestinal system. It is like other ordinary injections and the patient can eat after that.
@@MedixMedicine can a Diabetic Patient do this procedure ? please Answer
Can this water be drunk?
It will be the last thing you drink probably 😂
🐄🐮💦💧💧
Is that painfull
You better believe it is
This can damage internal organ or not .🤨??
The risk of organ injury during paracentesis is generally low (about 0.3%), but it can vary depending on a number of factors such as the patient's medical history, the location of the fluid within the abdominal cavity, and the skill level of the healthcare provider performing the procedure.
Not if you check the internal condition with Echocardiogram first. It takes longer time and more money. But assured a safer procedure.
They look for the biggest pocket with ultrasound imaging before poking you.
It's not dangerous to hit in the right side? You can hit accidentally the liver
No if you hit the correct point
Vcs. Assistiram a cirurgia de miopias.

Why not keep a catheter in-dwelling, to keep the patient comfortable, especially in the case of liver cancer, etc.
infections. Peritonitis is the last thing you want with liver issues
@@lifeisacoustics you won’t get anything, the manoeuvre was sterile and draining liquid would only be a pain relief
@@Feedforwrardjames9 Absolutely but an indwelling will just worsen the situation. We already have the ascites due to an oncotic pressure imbalance. If we take out the proteins in the ascites and not replace them, the condition would only worsen
sometimes they will do something like an asept drain which is indwelling but durable for a long period of time. It stays in and the patient can drain themselves on a schedule or PRN.
You can get a tunneled PleurX catheter permanently so it can be drained intermittently with minimal risk of infection
Я просто вытяжку лиственницы вкалываю
Your sterile gloves touched your non sterile cloth.
Right-side appendix may injured correct way is lt side
You are right, but the real reason is that the ascending colon is attached to the posterior wall, so there is more chances to injure the right colon than the mobile sigmoid colon

Yes, Lidocaine is a proper choice

I wouldn't let you touch me during such a procedure without an ultrasound
