- Sadly, like the majority of the tech market, my company had layoffs. Although I felt a sense of relief, I also wanted to support any of my colleagues who were affected. There's a ton of changes that have been happening in this industry and I hope I can keep up.

dang cliff hanger!
Thanks for sharing some insight on how working on an AI product is like.
Hope all goes well.
I’m looking forward to your Ux career in AI! I want to break into the AI field as an Ux designer as well😇! Looking forward to more💕
Thanks for sharing this and glad to have you back
The suspense!
Girl… I was worried I didn’t see a video or anything here or on IG. I’m glad you are good
Hi!! Just taking a little break, thanks for checking in
OOOMG, not you leaving us with this cliffhanger Mimi. Woow. 😂
I think that it’s hard if not impossible for companies to evaluate new people when doing layoffs. It can take a good 6 months to a year to really start hitting your stride at a new role. Laying someone off 3 months into a job doesn’t seem like good business. Only case where that might happen is a whole team is getting laid off or it’s just really obvious that someone isn’t qualified.
Good Video! keep it up
Could you share why layoffs happen, as someone who is interested in UX Design as well😊
@Emily S. If you’re asking why layoffs happen In general, when there’s an economic recession, companies will cut costs in order to preserve cashflow, which forces them to layoff staff at times. It happens regardless of what field you’re in.
