Keenler has been written up quite clear as a partner duo since the pilot. Shipping is an objective matter. You either like two people together or you don't. S6 placed them back on the same track where s3 left off and s7 paved the way for Liz to move on. She is not 80, she is young. Wanting her to become a nun, griefing forever? Whether or not her intentions are sincere or she had an ulterior motive is again apparently an objective matter for this fandom. But if she was a man instead, I wonder how many people would say she went there to "seduce" him, instead of saying she wanted a night of passion with someone she liked before she left town. It's THAT simple. So far every scene is Liz asking something and Ressler saying "Yeah nope..." and again she went ALL that way to sleep with him to do what? The only "using" came to pass when she knew he would record their phone call and get a team to find her, allowing time to go and get Agnes back and slipping through the information that Marvin betrayed Red for his lawyer to gain access to the money. She could ACCOMPLISH all that without Ressler sleeping with her, or her claiming she keeps calling him because she is afraid every time they say goodbye they might mean it. They will eventually be getting feelings for each other. at this point, they can get two robots kissing and say it is them, it's still CANON, and I still wouldn't care. there is a panoramic ongoing...

Maybe just different preferences, but especially this preference is more highlighted due to safety reasons in pandemic. They have real family, too, who lives together. Anyway, it does not take anything from the story here. The point of the story is delivered. I think that's the point of making this series.
I guess I’m the only one not a fan of these two. Liz is going down a dangerous road and it’s going to end very badly, I’m afraid. Ressler and she are not a match. I just don’t see how they could be. She and Tom had a chemistry that was unmatched. To try and pose a love interest for her as her friend and partner is honestly sickening and looks desperate. Just because they work together doesn’t mean they should end up together. I hope the series ends with her holding Agnes’ hand and an image of Tom holding Agnes’ other hand. After all, she’s where she is because of Red. He brought this on himself with the constant lying and interference.
I disagree. Ressler is a much better man than Tom was. From the beginning I've always thought Liz & Ressler would be endgame. Liz and Tom’s relationship is the definition of toxic. She seemed to forget everything he did. Some things are unforgivable. As Ressler said: "He laid a hand on you. As far as I'm concerned, there's no coming back from that."

I guess I’m the only one not a fan of these two. Liz is going down a dangerous road and it’s going to end very badly, I’m afraid. Ressler and she are not a match. I just don’t see how they could be. She and Tom had a chemistry that was unmatched. To try and pose a love interest for her as her friend and partner is honestly sickening and looks desperate. Just because they work together doesn’t mean they should end up together. I hope the series ends with her holding Agnes’ hand and an image of Tom holding Agnes’ other hand. After all, she’s where she is because of Red. He brought this on himself with the constant lying and interference.
I disagree. Ressler is a much better man than Tom was. From the beginning I've always thought Liz & Ressler would be endgame. Liz and Tom’s relationship is the definition of toxic. She seemed to forget everything he did. Some things are unforgivable. As Ressler said: "He laid a hand on you. As far as I'm concerned, there's no coming back from that."
@@lovexx5893 I just don’t see it at all. I would rather they not be together than be together. It’s just stale. I’m not saying he isn’t good, but they don’t match. Tom was bad but he changed and gave all that up for Liz. The important thing to remember is Ressler grew up a normal life. Tom only knew crime and he couldn’t escape it until he fell in love. It’s really a tragic story.
