Those clouds are called Lenticular clouds. They are formed by wind forming a wave as it crosses mountains. This means no paragliding for us paragliding pilots.

Just a little stream hey... You should have seen in Sep '23... Buried my SUV and washed away half the farm...
White flowers are carrots, grown for seed...
We have 2 doctors here believe it or not...
Unfortunately that pink house has been on the market for years. Possibly one of the unsafest houses around due to location next to the 'location' aka White City. Bylaws prevent building high enough walls to prevent breakins. That poor house gets so vandalised.
Old Post Office Whiskey Bar has now reopened for the season.

Just something to be aware of in future:
“You should not pick up a tortoise because it can cause them significant stress, potentially leading to health issues, as they are not naturally inclined to be handled; additionally, in dry environments, picking them up can result in them losing valuable stored water through urination as a defense mechanism, potentially putting them at risk of dehydration”
