I had Alves winning 3 rounds and Lane 2 rounds. No doubt that if there was score for damage category Lane would had won that category. But realistically speaking Alves score more strikes and significant strikes overall.

3 wasn't his, Alves stayed more active. Lane spent most the time in defense. It was a real close fight and a good match. Had Lane been more active in rd 3, I think he would have taken the win. Punches win fights not defending them.
Julian has legit boxing skills, too bad we never got to see him in the UFC I think he would have done well but BKFC is more suited for his style anyway he deserves to have a place to show his skills. Great fight for both of these guys!
Lane is built for BKFC. The guy went from being a bit of a joke to being a man that deserves a lot of respect. He fights with a ton of heart and has came a long way since we all first met the man.

Had it tied up going into the 5th. Alves had him hurt in the 5th with a nice right uppercut that almost knocked Lanes mouthpiece out 13:27, you can see him push it back in as Alves is throwing his combo two punches after that uppercuts lands he then catches him with a nice lead hook 13:29 that hook gets Lane to hunch and cover up, you can see the pain in his face as they are clinched up and Lanes head is on Alves shoulder and then the ref stops it to look at Alves cuts once they break, I feel like that 30 secs gave Lane time to recover. I think Alves would of got a KO or at the very least a knock down if the ref didn't ask for time to have his cuts checked on.

I just want to know how Lane was a 140lb fighter and now he is huge and ripped ? I see former UFC fighters come in this sport and the body changes are astonishing, I bet they do not even test for or regulate steroids .
I felt like Lane won that one. Alves threw more punches, and probably landed more, but I felt Lane landed the more significant punches. Great sportsmanship at the end, good to see.
