The thought of combining beer and ice cream may sound crazy at first but looking back “ice cream floats” were such hits back in the day! Ice cream is amazing on its own but when you add alcohol it’s a match made in heaven! Pure indulgence!
In this recipe I am going to show you how to make a simple and easy base for ALL your ice cream creations. The best part there is no expensive equipment or tools needed!

I’ve used this recipe twice now but with a coffee milk stout beer instead of a Guinness, and added a little vanilla extract; absolutely *amazing* ice cream!

No interest on Guiness ice cream. Clicked only because I saw Renee on the thumbnail and checked the date (3 weeks ago) 😀😆😆 .
I've started using this way to make ice cream and it is sooooo FANTASTIC! So easy and quick. Made ice cream about 2 twice already and the children about 3x on their own. The really great thing is that I can buy a 1 litre pack of whipping cream and make a good amount of different flavours.
Just Sunday night i was telling someone they can make this no churn guinness ice cream. I've made this, peanut, coconut and avocado using this method. I bought a second hand ice cream machine now though 😂 so i churn everything now.
In my opinion the churn method is better. Don't like too much whip cream, continuous use of it isn't good for your body. It taste delicious with it though

I didn't get as much in thst I whipped to stiff peak so my condensed milk was thick so my Guinness mixture was also thick so it was thick n creamy n I put it in the freezer for overnight so tomorrow I will see if it scoops up creamy... but it taste so tasty... I'm going n make brownies to eat with this ice cream tomorrow Sunday ... thanks

Don't know if it's available near you but there is now a non-alcoholic Guinness available and it should do just as well I imagine.

Update:- THE BEST GUINESS ICE CREAM WE'VE EVER HAD! Usually when we buy, the Guinness isn't prominent..... We control the quantity(the whole bottle) 😅so it's fabulous... Can't wait to do peanut ice cream next💞 Thank you🙏

I normally use the same ingredients, but I add all ingredients at the beginning and mix everything. I place in a "glass" bowl and line the surface with clear wrap.
