Good to see so many of them still on the road! I've just joined the Talbot club and will be taking her out and about for some trips! You have a new subscriber 🙂

I had the Rambler version of this classic. Lots of fun touring UK for a few years. Only hassle was gear selection problems. Adjustments were never ideal to get smooth first to reverse. I wish steering assist was available in those days too.
My old Talbot is the same year. In just over three years no breakdowns except for a fan belt which was an easy fix. They are great little old school vehicles with simple robust engines. The gearbox selector takes a little getting used to though.
No nook or cranny is safe when you invite Tim in.. 😄 Surprised you didn't check the glove box worked.. Missed your vocation as a camper Top Gear presenter.. you have the voice and je ne sais quoi for it...

Whatever vehicle you own, you suddenly see how many of them there are on the road.
@@SocksWithSandals Hoping to take her for a big trip all around Ireland, I'll put all the videos on my channel 🙂
The autosleeper conversions were high quality, and the fixtures and fittings so durable they actually outlive the base vehicle. Lovely little van.
Pristine example.

Great little van 👍🏻 another good video 👍🏻❤️🙏🏻

If Wayne ever sells this van I’m making the trip from South Wales for it, looks in great condition for year and they have everything you need. 👍🏻
Van prices have doubled in the past year, Andrew. I doubt Wayne would sell it for the same price he bought it.
Nice camper...just bought a talbot kontiki 6 berth ...all old school ...love it...sensible buy given the current climate

Parking must have been horrific.
Bet you punched yourself in the nuts a few times too!
Parked up too close to a phone box once....took twenty minutes trying to find reverse to drive away. 🥴
