The Judge did NOT forbid him to go, in fact he said that if the trial is according to schedule, the court would take a day off so that DT could go. It is such a shame that this spin is being used to discredit the Judge and his decisions.

Associated Press, April 15: Trump’s lawyers have requested that the trial not be held on May 17 so that the former president may attend his son Barron’s high school graduation. A Trump lawyer has also requested the trial not be held June 3 so that he could attend his own son’s graduation.
Merchan said he was not prepared to rule on either request, but that if the trial proceeds as planned he’s willing to adjourn for one or both days. “It really depends on how we’re doing on time and where we are in the trial,” Merchan said.

It will be a horrendous mistake to refuse to allow Donald to attend his son’s graduation. Period. The dates should be adjusted, as necessary, for this personal family event.
Defendants in criminal trials don't get to take days off. If Donald Trump objects to there being two sets of rules, then he gets treated like everybody else. Besides, maybe Barron would prefer to be spared all the exposure and publicity. He is entitled to some privacy.
Let this father attend his sons graduation....just like any proud parent would want to.

@@2Bluzin The truth is the judge did tell him he could attend his sons graduation, but in typical Trump, fashion, he walked out of the courtroom and started lying through his teeth. Nobody should be surprised at that.
