Was it just me or did anyone else think this scene was very rushed? The refs holding the flags look like they just don’t care at all. We see the same scene of Robby sweeping that one guy. We don’t see Miguel, Sam, Eli, Demetri or Robby qualify to the quarter finals and shouldn’t have the Cobra Kai stunt student who beat the Miyagi Do stunt student qualified to the quarter finals?
The series creators said that under Netflix the entire schedule was rushed. And they specifically said the All Valley was rushed. It's impressive what the young actors pulled off in such short time, but it shouldn't have been rushed at all.
I agree. I felt like the whole tournament was bit rushed especially the quarter finals. It didn't help that they had to add Carrie Underwood in it. Don't get me wrong I like her as much as the next guy but I felt her singing served no purpose to truly hype up the tournament. I felt they should've played "You're the best around." Or created an original All-Valley theme for season 4 to play during the round 17 match ups.
@@dragonfire4527 the song she sang was from the first film. I think the sequence with Underwood was really good, but because they rushed and skipped through the matches following, I think that makes the song sequence seem worse than it is.

Instead of putting a bunch of random people to the quarters, they should’ve put more Miyagi-Do students. Yeah I agree. They could've done that scene better. I guess they were rushing it to give the finals exitement a little more time.
