I’ll be the first to admit it but even back in vanilla P5 I actually hated Makoto where I wasn’t a fan of her attitude… however once I got know her, see her become part of the phantom thieves I did a complete 180 where she became one of my favorite characters not just in this game but one of my favorite characters in the entire persona series.
Is kind of incredible how Makoto goes from being an absolute imbecile to being one of the greatest romance options through the game. One of my personal options to be honest.
