Ive got the Dominar 400 UG1 and ive ran it for 20000 km. walang binigay na sakit ng ulo, narating ko na ang benguet and albay ng walang problema. very reliable all around bike 👌
how is the fuel consumption for city driving? planning on getting this but I wonder if it fits as a daily driver, currently raider 150 FI gamit ko matipid sa gas may power konti pero ayun nga gusto ko nang grumaduate sa service road.
I grew up with a Bajaj pulsur 150 more than a decade ago. You can trust bajaj with eyes closed. Not sure how is the service delivery here in the Philippines. But I can guarantee that it's made for rugged and rough use. Also looong drives!!

My dad's 2nd hand Dominar 400 (2018) still running strong and easy to find a spare parts, Also it has safety features that if you forget to fold the side stand and you shift in first gear then it will automatically turn off the engine, One day I will get this latest version of D400

a bit heavy ang dominar sir, i suggest go with rouser200 ns or rs, after nyan pwede kana mag 400 up kasi ung bigat mapapraktis mi tlaga sa mga bikes na yan, kung may budget ka go with mt15 sir
Agree with all the suggestions right here. Although this is my first bike with couple of weeks practicing manual 155cc bikes and rode scooters a month in traffic. In my exp, the more you use it the more you'll get use to it. I suggest practicing slow maneuvering and hit the gym cause the weight might be a problem as well as seat height. Dropped the bike 2 times already cause i stalled and can't get my foot to touch the pavement 😅. Get insurance as well.
Not advisable, pero kung gusto mo talaga then go. Just be extra2 careful. Make sure to strengthen your legs, aralin mo maigi pano imanuever yung bike pag nakapatay. This is a heavy bike, and manghihimayang ka talaga kung ma drop mo lang sya. Also familiarize yourself sa power niya, specially around traffic.
This is my first bike. Ready mo lang katawan mo kasi sasakit sa una because of the weight, but the power is not scary for beginner riders. Very manageable power which is good for daily commute and long rides.
This is the closest we have for a Triumph 400, for now. Also, the Fekon X401 will be a close competitor at 208k only. Daaaamn. Daming magagandang Big Bikes at low price ngayon!
Only the ZX6R has the new 2024 model released so far. I'm also waiting for the Eliminator btw. Prices for the current line up have started going down so I think the 2024 line up release will be soon.

Not too different from my 2018 Dominar 400 in Cambodia (why mess with a good thing?). I added a pair of SHAD SH23 panniers - which not only look fantastic, but make the bike twice as useful. They also look like they were specifically designed for the bike. I highly recommend them.

I am really hoping Bajaj would make a fully faired light adventure bike gamit tong platform na to. Think 19 front 17 rear tire sizes (spoked or mags). I believe the UG2 is a step in the right direction, pero sana, sana lang.

The arc of the fuel tank reminds of the old Bajaj Pulsar models from around 2005 when 180 and 200 were the biggest engines. I was in high school at that time and movies like Fast and the furious, Torque and Dhoom (Bollywood) were raging the young minds. How far has Bajaj come is something us kids would not have imagined back then.

If this bike manage some day to go top speed 180 km/h (with no speed error) i will considered to bay it. The reason is that it has top speed 155 km/h right now and when i travel i like to go with 120-140 km/h on the highways and, i'm afraid if i run it constantly with 140 km/h that is almost to it's limit i will stress the engine too much and damage it with the time + the fuel consumption will be too much. But if the engine has more to give, like 180km/h, 140 km/h will be relaxed operation for the bike with less stress. It is a touring bike with the purpose for open streets. It has to give little more without to be aggressive. I' ll wait for engine improvements.

I'm surprised di nila ginawa nalang variant na budget Versys with lower ground clearance. Yung tipong cowled Dominar 400. I mean you got the tall windscreen looking a bit out of place IMO, akala ko nga aftermarket if I didn't check the website. Parang sport touring on a budget.

Also ang hinabol ko talaga dito is yung maka express ako, ang laking convinient kasi ang bilis ko nakaka uwi, hindi na ako naiipit masyado sa traffic. Daily na byahe ko nga pala is naic to mckinley and vice versa.

Good list of iterative improvements. The price bump, even though it finally broke through the 200K line, is also not too bad.

Got my Dominar 400 UG last year Feb 2022. So far, ganda pa din, malayo na narating, running at almost 25k odo. Sulit!

IMO go for smaller displacement if first bike. Less guilt if you crash it, cheaper parts also. Kahit 150cc ok na.
