Where has this recording been all these years?!?! The last time I heard Three Nocturns on this recording was in the 1970's on an 8 track tape. Hearing this recording was as I remembered it from all those years ago. It would be great if this were re-mastered onto C.D. and made available commercially. (hint, hint) I have heard numerous performances of these works, and while some are good, none have been as fine as this one. Maestro Abbado worked out many subtle details in the music that make all the difference.
