If you haven't seen the Chinese Fakie Ollie tutorial yet guys, make sure to check it out, because it will make learning the fakie disaster much easier! --> ruclips.net/video/mcinaGJk01Y/видео.html
Nice video man. This trick is little difficult to me, but I realized that I am not raising the back foot. Maybe to practice fakie Ollie will help me. You could do a video to explain blunt to fakie. I saw you doing this trick in another video. In my case, as I ride in a mini ramp with a high copping, is difficult to put the wheels in the correct position.
I don't remember subscribing to your channel but I actually like the content I've seen so far so I'm here to stay, haha. wish I had a mini ramp to learn tricks like this on. sadly I'm purely a street skater as the nearest skate park by me is 3+ hours away! I have always dreamed of having a mini ramp to shred.
RageAgainstTheToyMachine Aww man, that makes me sad that you don't have access to a mini-ramp. I like that about skateboarding though, it adapts to your environment. Do you do a lot of flatground stuff? handrails? freestyle?
yeah man pretty much flatground stuff and some small stair sets/handrails, nothing huge though because I'm not quite there yet lmao, skated from 10-18 then kinda drifted away from skating for some years due to some life problems went down the wrong path you could say, but recently got back into it at 23 been skating about a year again just trying to make due with what I got and enjoy it :P
Hi Justin, I recently got into skateboarding and your videos have been really helpful! I have a question about your board setup. With the use of 58mm wheels, do you have to use risers to avoid wheelbite?
So when coming back in should your goal be to clear your back wheels so they don't touch the coping at all, or is it more of the back wheels rolling over the coping when you come in? Anyway my wheels touch when coming back in I have like a split second panic attack that I'm going to hang up.
The back wheels should touch the coping on the way back in. I agree it's scary the first few times, but it starts to feel normal after you do it a bunch of times. As long as you have your front foot in the right spot, you shouldn't hang up and fall
Though I have a few years experience riding vert I hate it. I'm more well known for fakie flat ground tricks at my local park... My death blow was self taught it was only later I found out what it's called and how hard it is for others to land... Backside fakie 180 late flip.
Dude, my question: If you ride up fakie and to a rock, like you are here, then roll yourself down fakie as well.. What's that called? Fakie rock to fakie? Or Fakie rock n roll to fakie? Keeping up with all the names when you start combining them is the hardest part of skateboarding lmao
@@NeverStopImprovingSB yeah, I've also heard it called. "fakie pop rock" as well. Looks like a cool trick and I want to try it. I've accidentally gotten into the disaster position while learning to tail stall, but I've been scared to try and come back in.

Just learned fakie tailstalls, so this is definitely next on my list. Thanks Justin!
Thank you so much for all your tutorials. Since subbing to your channel, I’ve doubled my tricks. This is next on my list!
cool video, thanks man for the tips!!
Nice to see your trick tips again bro. Greetings from Russia!
I love those, they are fun.
Nice. Another one that's been on my list to learn. Thanks dude.

Such a good tutorial man, such an in depth explanation in 5 mins

Christopher Avery That's really good to hear!
...and yes, absolutely; I use 1/4 inch risers and I almost never get wheelbite any more.
Nice video

Also, really good explanation here. I'll have to watch more of your videos!
I call it a half cab rock
It depends on the way you turn. I usually call them switch rock and rolls. Fakie ollie switch front rock or something.
Is it just me or is "Fakie Disaster" a dumb name for it? Like, a disaster is a 180 to rock. Why is a fakie ollie to rock also a disaster variation?
It doesn't really have an official name, but I've also heard it called a 'fakie pop'
