Thanks for doing this video hun it’s really helped me I know I’m not alone and being a stay at home mum is what I’ve always wanted but it’s lonely at times. I said to my husband I want a little job, he is a PT so I want to get back to the gym now my little one is 5 months xxx
Please do post workouts! Fellow post-babies mama here, lost a stone and struggling to shift the last stone to get back to where I want to be. Would be great to see what you’re up to at the gym for motivation
Honestly I’d love too and hopefully one day I will! But setting a camera up in the gym gives me the biggest fear of my life 🤣 especially when half my old school go to the same gym! I could film in our home gym I guess though xx
Actually, the midwife has a duty of care to the baby and the mother, therefore if the mother wasn’t caring for the baby’s needs then that it absolute bullshit that she ‘couldn’t do anything’. I’m calling bull crap!
They were absolutely run off their feet, they didn’t have time to stay in our room and care for a baby all night when they had to help other women feed, bring them into the ward etc. the night indie was born they actually had to close the ward. What are you exactly calling bull crap on?
@@sophielouisetaylor4069 i work in the NHS in a hospital. If you told the midwife that the woman was leaving her baby that much that it was so distressed that it constantly cried then the midwife, no matter how rushed off their feet they were, had a duty of care to check on the baby. The baby could of been crying for any number of medical reasons. No midwife I know would ignore a constant crying baby. I wasn’t calling bull crap on you, just on the fact of a midwife saying that. They need reporting. As for ward closures, that’s normal procedure when all beds are full or the ratio of nurses to patients is reached.
Love this video so much, thank you Sophie! Ive struggled with getting back to myself for 3 years since having my son who is the same age as Casper. Being a mum is amazing but it is still so important to have a separate life and get out the house, it is easy to lose track of who you are when you are caring for and prioritising another person all the time! Totally agree that getting out to the gym is life changing - and making time to go somewhere rather than cramming in a quick youtube workout makes a huge difference mentally too ❤
I think they do too! I think it can be caused by lots of things across your lifetime and some people will probably live with it and never know! I’m just very in tune with my body and thoughts and I knew something wasn’t right x
Such a helpful video which reflects how a lot of mothers feel, I think. Would you mind sharing the link to the healing session you had? Thank you ❤
Thank you! Yes I’ve tagged in the description box now! Thank you xx
