Fantasy fulfillment isn’t inherently a bad thing, it’s just often used as an excuse to make bad stories. It’s very important to make sure that your story is one that you actually enjoy, so fantasy fulfillment can help with that! But it’s important to remember that you still need structure in your story for it to be interesting to others (and to make logistical sense)
Most stories are generally written from what the author enjoys in fiction anyways. Certain themes and messages, character designs, character dynamics, and common tropes are often things that writers will add to their stories because they like them. It only makes sense from a human emotion standpoint that this means some writers will end up writing things involving their fantasies because they like it. It's kinda just how creativity works. Everything always just boils down to execution of those ideas
That is a good way of putting it. There’s technically nothing wrong with fantasy fulfillment, as many authors put in things they enjoy, but general audiences will probably not enjoy it if there’s no substance outside of it.
As someone whos in the very early stages of making a comic, this was EXTREMLEY uplifting to hear. While in the middle of writing it, i started to realize that i had accidentally added.. i wouldnt say fetish but its certianly in that ball park of sorts to the dynamic of the mc and the love interest. I was pretty upset when i realized this because i watch of media critique videos (including urs) and i always heard this used as an insult. I was conisdering re-writing the entire thing until i saw this video in my feed and it made me feel a heck of a lot better about it. I am VERY new to making comics (and wrting in general) so it was nice to be validated by someone who's opinion i respect
@@dogystyksaimontov4386 The name is "Murder Mice", though its not out yet. Its in the VERY early stages of production rn. Thanks for the interest though!
Well, fantasy fufillment topics are part of human nature, since sexuality is part of human nature and experience (even if that experience is refusing to engage with it in any way), so adding a fetish to a story isn't inherently bad. You can explore psichology through it. I guess an example of those is all the cannibalistic love stories, where its used as an all consuming kind of love. Or a modern look at Brave New World definietly sees a lot of fetishy things in the setting, yet the story itself is (IMO) pretty good (I only saw the netflix series tho, the book probably did it even better) Hell, Trigun Stampede got kinda weird near the ending, but I think it was fine, beacuse within the context of the anime and everything leading up to it, I think it made sense? Also good luck with your comic!
Thing about a fetish, is that you need to remember why are you sharing this art with other people. If this is just for you, simply do it for yourself. If you want it to be seen as something with substance, then write what people will want to see, since not everyone shares your tastes exactly.
Kinda reminds me of Gebura character design wise (but ngl, to me the design of Gebura is just the icing on the being able to, and probably willing to, fold me like a pretzel)
A terrible fetish comic is going 90 miles in the 35 miles zone to get to the supermarket, while a good fetish comic goes 30 miles, in the 90 mile zone going to the supermarket, in other words, the folks in the comic should have to "work" for it, go through the normal junk that people go through, in a natural setting, then build up to the main act or acts. Well if you want to create a continuing comic, because a lot of comics I like are one offs.
i mean if people enjoy them, whats wrong with that. While yes everyone should strive for perfection in all things ideally. Sometimes people just want to consume low effort no substance art that speaks to more baser wants.
I don’t remember where I heard it from, but someone once said that the mark of a good story is how well the author is able to hide their fetishes in it without people noticing.
This actually made me feel a lot more confident in my writing. A lot of the stuff I write (especially my more romantically based stuff) I feel like does get wrapped up in my fantasies and I feel ashamed to share it outside of my close friends because of that but after watching this video it does make me feel a little better and that it is just a pretty natural thing and I can use it so long as it’s not an excuse for bad writing. So thanks Jack! Sorry if this was an incoherent rant
My barely disguised fetish has led me to writing a sapphic mecha space opera with elements of the poetic edda and Tom Clancy esque political intrigue. I need a convoluted narrative cause I can’t draw to save my life
This reminded me of a work I once read a while back, can't remember the title though. The author already stated from the summary that it's an 18+ "harem" set in medivial fantasy where the characters do kinky say gex. Now, I'm not into harems or say gex personally but decided to read a bit anyway. The overall plot isn't just all about what's stated above, the world building is well thought out with an understanable fantasy system, the characters are all fairly unique each with an engaging backstory or character motivation, the romance while there are hints of toxicity its potrayed as a bad thing as even the coldest character thrives to form a healthier bond, and while its obvious the writer is biased with certain characters "doing it" (was actually kinda let down that the pairing I wanted to see not get a proper scene lol) its actually somewhat tasteful to read (and the author actually marks it as 18+ so it's kept away from the eyes of honest kids). Even opened me on reading potentially good stories which happened to have say gex (still not into harem though). Even with "wish fufillment" that someone might not be into, it reminds me that one of an author's ability to create engaging stories despite such is an incredible feat. And that you can find a suprising lot of profound quotes in 18+ stuff lol
“For every hour I earn a nickel while my boss earns a dime, so of course I fuck on company time.” Paraphrasing a little because I can’t remember the character’s name, but still one of the most iconic quotes I’ve ever read lmao
An artists work is mostly their personality. We basically reveal everything on paper like "ladies and gentleman, these are my fetishes. Now read or watch as you too become [insert fetish]" truly a world that we live in
Writers will write whatever they WANT to write about. I lump stories that are just the authors "fetish" into what I'll call "Comfort Fiction". It exists because someone likes it, and due to the popularity of a lot of these stories I'd assume a lot of other people like it as well. To me this isn't as bad as injecting your fetish into what's supposed to be a "serious" form media. Like how Dan Schneider injected his foot fetish into children's media.
I personally also have a taste for doing fantasy’s fulfillment stuff as well, but my brain almost literally cannot start getting to the fulfillment stuff before I write like 10+ pages of worldbuilding because that’s just how my brain works- it needs context and explanation and whys and how’s for me to process the fantasy fully.
i think the basic "strong man/Monster with normal woman" is stupid but in my opinion there are ways to make it less stupid. have the "strong man" be a retired knight, military worker, gang member, hero(or really any job that requires a large amount of violence) and have them be terrible at expressing emotions, have PTSD from their old life and of course give them the classic tuff guy personality; maybe also make them not used to civilian life and have to be taught basic things. over time as the other love interest will teach them that the violence is over and he doesn't have to keep up these walls and hide his emotions anymore to appear like he's some strong intimidating figure that the world needs. the last scenes of the story should be the big strong person breaking down crying on his knees while being held by the other lover as he lets years of repressed emotions, memory's and thoughts flood out in the form of tears. the last scene is the 2 of them holding hands and walking into a therapist's office.
The tricks to incorporating personal fantasies into a publicly a available story is that it... A) Can't be the sole focus of the story otherwise it's basically just fetish bait. B) Needs more than thinly veiled pretext and authorial fiat to justify why the fantasies are a part of the story. C) Should still follow good storytelling practices and have a driving narrative to string together the fantasy scenarios in a plot consistent manner. If someone reads your story and can almost immediately tell what you're personal fetishes are based on the content of the story, you might be implementing your fantasies a too much.
I've been writing a fantasy fufillment romance comic for about 2 years ans my biggest regret is that i was really lazy with the worldbuilding and just put a bunch of fantasy characters in present day, once I finish posting it to webtoon and get a couple other projecs done I want to rewrite the entire story and really try to do more with it while still allowing it to be my own sort of self indulgent fantasy comic
With my browsing of the Choice of Games interactive novels I have found that not only do a lot of them feature different romance interests with explicit romance scene, but a majority even have the option to customize the romance interests gender and the story changes accordingly when relavent but the character keeps the same personality regardless of what it is. This of course comes with plenty of different scenarios made up by the author and they don’t hold back like I’m not joking when I say novels like Samurai of hyuga 4 gives the player the option to participate in a chained together story with your ex with jealousy and anger issues in a stockholm syndrome type romance and is surprisingly tame compared to some of the other novels like it’s a pretty big rabbit hole when see how many different genres there are online and many more are still in development with free public demos that give a taste of what they will offer in the final version.

6:10 I was promised a good romance between a hot dragon lady and a meek guy in the thumbnail of this video, and it was delivered. The furry in me is rejoicing.
As a fan of 'Hades' (video game) I was considering reading Lore Olympus because I like the characters and yeah IK they they're not going to act the same but I loved greek Mythology in HS so I thought I should give it a read! I dropped it after 10 episodes and people in the WEBTOON subreddit was hating on me for it. I rule I gave myself is that if the webtoon don't get good after at least 10 chapters it ain't worth my time.
I feel like another good example is vampire media. Yes some can be erotic and such but, I love seeing substance of ACTUAL characters. I love seeing good drama and making me care to potentially breaking my heart or to worry about the cast if things go wrong for them. I like good build up.
I might actually give that dragon comic a read. The artstyle reminds me a lot of my own, so maybe I can find ways to help me improve by looking at how that guy handles things I have issues with. (not gonna complain about the dragon waifu though. :) )
The most obnoxious type of wish fulfillment is the classic “harem” trope. Usually a regular if not sub-average white guy or girl ends up with a load of lovely women (or men) fall into their lap for no real reason of their own. A particular example that rubs me the wrong way is SLARPG, which the only reason it’s not a typical “random guy gets a bunch of girls who randomly fall in love with him” is because the protag is a transgender, thus making it “ok”!
yaknow i would actually tolerate the harem genre if the mcs werent the most basic looking people like if they were at least crazy handsome or unique id bear it
I have my fantasy thing with Very big and tall guys who look like they're scary, but is actually very sweet. Suitor Armor does this well, with Modeus. I'm doing this too. The only problem I find is that some creators make just this one guy this gianormous guy, and the girl very small. Especially in some WT originals. A way I executed this well, is by the Species my character comes from. His people are all a 6ft tall, some reach 7 feet, but to them its not different than a Human Man being 5-6 ft tall. This stems from the Elves from LOTR, and Oblivion, as well as some scary stories.
If you just wanna write spicy bits then skip what you don't like, don't speedrun it. A bad introduction makes it obvious you don't care and are just cramming to get to what you want, no proper introduction makes the reader question about the world/character/whatever is shown. If you wanna say that a character had a normal childhood don't go year by year with all the things they did (if you don't care) just say they had a normal childhood, it leaves it more open for interpretation of what the character/world thinks is normal. A common piece of writing advice is "show don't tell" which is a fine piece of advice for most scenarios but showing everything can be taxing when you don't care/think it is mundane so unless it is important or the majority of your story it is okay to simplify things, it also gives you more leeway with facts you have written before, if a character hasn't established when their birthday is you can drop it in at anytime to create a problem/event that is very realistic people are born everyday after all.
The problem with most comic/manga like this (mostly Isekai) is the lack of side effects of the abilities, lack of consequences, everything happens sometimes by chance to the convenience of the plot to advance without any previous situation building into it. Most authors forget about the world and situation building and it's frustrating every time. I tend to get bored of this kind of stories where they rush everything
The "boring fantasy" in question is regular love story (creepy things aside) and romantic drama. Obviously, this does not appeal to EVERYBODY, but that is also why people, especially women, read it. That's the WHOLE APPEAL!!!
Take a chance and start sharing what you like, see if people actually agree with you. Overall, good video, not a whole lot of depths as I demand a lot of spoilers for my media.
I think Lore Olympus is worst, because it is not overtly clear it ia just the author's ddlg fantasy, but is trying to pass as a real story/romance. Like other similar works, I think it wouldn't be judged as harshly if it was honest about what it was.
There are fantasies that are just simply...not great to look at. Especially when the plot ends up being nothing to just get to such disturbing fantasies. Sometimes, there are fantasies that are overused and numerous, such as the harem genre. Guy looking for lots of girlfriends is quite typical, at least on the surface. I, however, had a different idea to spin on such a genre. The main protag guy gets a girlfriend...and the *girlfriend* is the one trying to make the harem for her boyfriend. For varying reasons, from psychological therapy to just making him go from average dude to badass lady's man.
for my fellow sapphics (and guys that like that too i guess) mage and demon queen is a really nice finished story with plot but also heavy on the romance
There are genuinely good stories on Webtoon from time to time, but a majority do follow the same make and model, it kinda does get boring after a while of seeing the same copy paste formula. Would love to read more that do follow a good balance of the idealistic writing styles and that also have a good art style to back it up. Also notta clue if you'll see this! But it would be cool to see you cover one of the fan recreations of Lore Olympus. Lore Rekindled has 50 or so chapters out on Tumblr and both artists work really hard on it. Which isn't any shade towards the original creator's work, but it's better to promote the actually good retellings when they're made. The community there is really tiny and fairly nice to interact with too, so that's a plus!
Fantasy fulfillment a lot of times is done with a lack of taste. Like I've got a fantasy where my special interests all meet, and introducing the concept has made internet veterans interested in it with evidence of this. You can have dark materials too and address controversial things correctly. You can do everything people normally hate in these types of comics when you figure out how to do it with common sense. It isn't hard to try and not out yourself when you think of how to create an actual story including small and giant world building involved.
Thank you for mentioning doing things with sense. The artist does not die, they instead live eternally through their works. When your works are thoughtless and impulsive, when they reflect your darker desires without consideration of the consequences, and your comments towards genuine criticism are outraged and indignant you will not be remembered kindly. But if you are sensible and approach all things thoughtfully and with due grace, your desires though reflected are questioned and their consequences laid clear, and even the harshest verbal battery is handled with patience or simply left as an example of the commentator's profound stupidity that it may speak for itself, you will live eternally as a sage and you will better yourself and others with your writing. Thank you.
I really like Dragoness says sit, with that title I was expecting something mediocre but hell I was surprised it feels fantasy fulfilment part isn't the reason for the story but the story itself with how things are set up naturally goes in this direction even moments when this fantasy is more obvious most of the time have more purpose than just to fulfill this fantasy
You given we plenty to think about and I'm curious about your opinion on webtoon I like but it also just a canvas right now it's called summoned hero hunter
For me, there is nothing generic plot or characters it's how they do it or use it. I'm not a huge isekai because they are always the same . Doesn't matter how many different stories. They are always the same . A nerd character who becomes the most hottest and most powerful . Same with the background characters, the same trope over and over. That's why I never got interested in isekai. That's big reason why konosuba is my favorite one it's funny and so different and unique. I don't have shame for how others see me .
For lore Olympus I agree that it’s got it’s problems, but the author did try to expand on the world and put in plot in genuinely interesting ways. But in the end i thought the follow through was kinda underwhelming after they defeated Kronos the first time. The ENTIRE PLOT just straight up stopped for way to many chapters and by the end I wasn’t invested enough to really care about the conclusion, which to be clear, would’ve probably been very satisfying (except for Apollo’s punishment, cause seriously that could’ve been better) if the stakes hadn’t been so low and slow for so long. Point is, you would probably need to read the whole thing through since the partying and shit completely stops after a certain point as the real plot becomes the main focus.
Have you played "i wanni hug that gator"? one of the most realistic romcoms i've ever seen with friends and family being ACTUALLY important for the development of the main couple. Acompanied with bitter sweet moments, all endings are realistic but with victories and consecuences more unusual to see in IRL.
3 mins into the video and I can make my cringy "I'm not like other girls" comment- Other girls: Generic pretty anime boy, but he refuses to respect boundaries that have been set Me: Literal demon that is only vaguely human, but is kind, understanding, and not only respects boundaries, but will go out of his way to help his love enforce them.
@@FriendKevin I would, but that's not my kind of game sadly. I'm more of a racing/sandbox/relaxing slice of life gamer. I will see if there are playthroughs to watch of it though! Thank you for the recommendation!
About wish fulfilment, there are of course manga with those, too, like: Isekai De "kuro No Iyashi Te" Tte Yobarete Imasu / In Another World, I'm Called: the Black Healer Niehime To Kemono No Ou / Sacrifice Princess and King of Beasts The second one is more problematic due to the age gap, but not really a bad read. What can you say about those two...?
One more thing about fantasy fulfillment is that sometimes the piece of media itself isn’t a bad idea, its just that the fetish content gets priority over the quality of the story. It’s kinda like when you watch an anime with a really good plot but the fan service its just…too much. I’ll take food wars as an example. Food wars isn’t THAT bad of a show but it turns a lot of people off with its over saturation of fan service. Its so obviously fetish content, and i might be able to enjoy it, but i feel like sometimes less is more. 😅
I dont think tasteful is the right word for the ooint your trying to make. Your more pointing at the substance of the comic. Have there be more then just the fantasy to the peice. Make sure to include deep charecters with history and motivations and such.
Tfw ywn spoon a dragon waifu in bed and feel her possessively cuddle you back by wrapping her tail around your leg Tfw ywn switch and be spooned by a dragon waifu who throws her tail over you so that you have something to cuddle and hold onto while being the little spoon "If none of this matters, then why does it hurt so much?"
Fun fact: if you want to be cuddled by a dragon waifu, there is someone who wants to cuddle you as a dragon waifu. All it's gonna take is some animatronic parts, a scalesuit, and knowing who to ask as well as how. Hard? Absolutely. Impossible? I mean maybe, but with a few compromises, good connections, and enough in savings, anything is possible. Have fun, internet traveler!
I've noticed that in my demon gardian, the checker pattern you see on skirts, tie and bow tie are "shared", as in if you try to continue a line from one it'll connect with the next, you can clearly see it at 2:26 where the background girls' skirts seems to fuse together, you can also see it at 2:09 where you can still draw a line between the "outer" and "inner" side of the protag skirt Sorry if what I typed seems unclear and for talking so much about highschool girls skirt, it's just what let you see what I'm trying to say the best
Hey I have a question, I want to start a web comic but I REFUSE to use webtoon cause lets say my comic does take off, I don't want all my money taken away and have that stain of a website on my RUclips channel. Are there any alternates to webtoon where I can get possibly paid for? If not are there other alternatives that don't have brainless content like webtoon has?
When I think of fantasy fulfillment done wrong, I think of “Concession.” One of the worst furry webcomics I have ever read. It’s a bland, boring, misery-filled story with unlikable characters and bad jokes. It had fantasy fulfillment with ZERO substance. The actions of the characters never matter. It’s just a way for the author to live out a fantasy through the protagonist, with little regard for making a good story for the audience with rootable characters. Thankfully the creator ended this webcomic and moved on to bigger and better things, but their old work has not aged well.
A poorly done story and even characters could be excused if just the setting was interesting. If you took the first bland story and made it like the world of Soul Eater. Then at least you'd have an interesting background to enjoy. It's like Naruto filler. It's 90% bad, but you can still enjoy the unique jutsu. It's a waste of time. But an enjoyable waste of time.
I will never get over Usagi Drop. It's like the mangaka was possesed by some evil spirit and tried to ruin the entire story in the little time he had left. We all now have to see those early chapters in a different, more disturbing light.
So you're telling ME, that I can make a story about bug girls and I won't get hate for (mostly) if I put effort into it?... That's too hard of a task, my friend XD. (Okay, joke aside, I like this video. I do want to say something to people who want to make stories, and that's practice, A LOT. It's not an easy journey, but with every milestone you get better, and boy oh boy, the rush of getting past a roadblock is just wonderful. As Jack said, you can write a story about what gets you in the mood, but make it more than just that, make a good damn story, that happens to have your favourite "fetish" in it, be it bug girls or dragon milfs, you can do it.)
Video got demonetized... Again. So yeah please support me on patreon if you can, lol.

Everything always just boils down to execution of those ideas
real. my favourite oc is my sona lmao
That's actually very insightful.
Comic’s name?
@@dogystyksaimontov4386 The name is "Murder Mice", though its not out yet. Its in the VERY early stages of production rn. Thanks for the interest though!
Well, fantasy fufillment topics are part of human nature, since sexuality is part of human nature and experience (even if that experience is refusing to engage with it in any way), so adding a fetish to a story isn't inherently bad. You can explore psichology through it. I guess an example of those is all the cannibalistic love stories, where its used as an all consuming kind of love.
Or a modern look at Brave New World definietly sees a lot of fetishy things in the setting, yet the story itself is (IMO) pretty good (I only saw the netflix series tho, the book probably did it even better)
Hell, Trigun Stampede got kinda weird near the ending, but I think it was fine, beacuse within the context of the anime and everything leading up to it, I think it made sense?
Also good luck with your comic!
Thing about a fetish, is that you need to remember why are you sharing this art with other people. If this is just for you, simply do it for yourself. If you want it to be seen as something with substance, then write what people will want to see, since not everyone shares your tastes exactly.

"Estrogen bait" is insane
If there’s cool fight scenes is it progesterone bait?
Testosterone bait
@kathrineici9811 no, Yor parenting Anya scenes are progesterone bait. As is basically anything that makes Abe-sama proud
100 chapter slowburn takes forever for things to happen isn't good either

90% of romance comics on Webtoons are just one or two steps removed from being harlequin romance novels
i mean if people enjoy them, whats wrong with that. While yes everyone should strive for perfection in all things ideally. Sometimes people just want to consume low effort no substance art that speaks to more baser wants.
I don’t remember where I heard it from, but someone once said that the mark of a good story is how well the author is able to hide their fetishes in it without people noticing.
Or just how well you can hide being horny

This actually made me feel a lot more confident in my writing. A lot of the stuff I write (especially my more romantically based stuff) I feel like does get wrapped up in my fantasies and I feel ashamed to share it outside of my close friends because of that but after watching this video it does make me feel a little better and that it is just a pretty natural thing and I can use it so long as it’s not an excuse for bad writing. So thanks Jack! Sorry if this was an incoherent rant

“For every hour I earn a nickel while my boss earns a dime, so of course I fuck on company time.”

I personally also have a taste for doing fantasy’s fulfillment stuff as well, but my brain almost literally cannot start getting to the fulfillment stuff before I write like 10+ pages of worldbuilding because that’s just how my brain works- it needs context and explanation and whys and how’s for me to process the fantasy fully.
i think the basic "strong man/Monster with normal woman" is stupid but in my opinion there are ways to make it less stupid.
have the "strong man" be a retired knight, military worker, gang member, hero(or really any job that requires a large amount of violence) and have them be terrible at expressing emotions, have PTSD from their old life and of course give them the classic tuff guy personality; maybe also make them not used to civilian life and have to be taught basic things.
over time as the other love interest will teach them that the violence is over and he doesn't have to keep up these walls and hide his emotions anymore to appear like he's some strong intimidating figure that the world needs. the last scenes of the story should be the big strong person breaking down crying on his knees while being held by the other lover as he lets years of repressed emotions, memory's and thoughts flood out in the form of tears. the last scene is the 2 of them holding hands and walking into a therapist's office.
would you ever talk about mage and the demon queen. the things it does right and (rarely in my opinion) wrong
I've been writing a fantasy fufillment romance comic for about 2 years ans my biggest regret is that i was really lazy with the worldbuilding and just put a bunch of fantasy characters in present day, once I finish posting it to webtoon and get a couple other projecs done I want to rewrite the entire story and really try to do more with it while still allowing it to be my own sort of self indulgent fantasy comic
i really love watching your videos because shows what i'm NOT supposed to do

ohhh, he was talking about THAT type of fantasy.

Started reading The dragoness says sit because of this videos
me too it so god
I hung on until they made Demeter a minor villan because she didn't approve of the relationship. You don't treat Demeter with such disrespect!
make sure they're the right fantasies or society will throw you under the bus.
SOCIETY!!1!!1!

I'm always waiting for a new chapter to see the slowly developing relationship between Flare and Elias in The Dragoness comic
Meh. Taste is subjective. But on the other hand I never turn down mocking other people.
Have you tried it? That shit is fire.

Oh nice, got here before 10 minutes!
Fantasy fulfilment is like free speech, you can show it and everyone can judge you or dislike you
I think Lore Olympus is worst, because it is not overtly clear it ia just the author's ddlg fantasy, but is trying to pass as a real story/romance.
I found a parody comic you might be interested in. Its called lore Valhalla its a parody of lore Olympus.
for my fellow sapphics (and guys that like that too i guess) mage and demon queen is a really nice finished story with plot but also heavy on the romance
I have nothing to add to the conversation but have a comment for the algorithm
Yeah i got so tired of "video game comes to real life and the same looking mc quickly becomes op and after the first section all suspense is gone"
I do recommend room of swords though. Absolutely amazing story with occasional animated sections and amazing music on webtoobs
I like one thing in my fiction... Adorable goobers, who can kill you. Dorohedoro is full of this.
Thank you.
@Nugget111uh1 Exactly! Your works are a record forever, a lot of people forget digital footprint exists.
I would love to hear more recomendations for good webtoons ngl.
Castle swimmer, Suitor Armor, High class homos, Daybreak
I really like Dragoness says sit, with that title I was expecting something mediocre but hell I was surprised
it feels fantasy fulfilment part isn't the reason for the story but the story itself with how things are set up naturally goes in this direction
even moments when this fantasy is more obvious most of the time have more purpose than just to fulfill this fantasy

Ok, but can you make a video on your MOST FAVORITE Webcomic you have ever read?
You given we plenty to think about and I'm curious about your opinion on webtoon I like but it also just a canvas right now it's called summoned hero hunter
I love when you talk about webcomics you like 👍
Not to mention, if the story is choppy enough it’s more of a weird off-putting comedy
3 mins into the video and I can make my cringy "I'm not like other girls" comment-
Other girls: Generic pretty anime boy, but he refuses to respect boundaries that have been set
Me: Literal demon that is only vaguely human, but is kind, understanding, and not only respects boundaries, but will go out of his way to help his love enforce them.
@@FriendKevin I would, but that's not my kind of game sadly. I'm more of a racing/sandbox/relaxing slice of life gamer. I will see if there are playthroughs to watch of it though! Thank you for the recommendation!
This is the video we’ve all needed
The people behind some comics out there should learn how to fulfill others rather than only themselves
yay jack likes mage and demon queen too :D
About wish fulfilment, there are of course manga with those, too, like:
Isekai De "kuro No Iyashi Te" Tte Yobarete Imasu / In Another World, I'm Called: the Black Healer
Niehime To Kemono No Ou / Sacrifice Princess and King of Beasts
The second one is more problematic due to the age gap, but not really a bad read.
What can you say about those two...?
Take it back
One more thing about fantasy fulfillment is that sometimes the piece of media itself isn’t a bad idea, its just that the fetish content gets priority over the quality of the story. 😅
For lore olympus it was nice for a bit but then mainly became girl boss with making men that isn’t hades bad people or basically doing nothing
I dont think tasteful is the right word for the ooint your trying to make. Your more pointing at the substance of the comic. Have there be more then just the fantasy to the peice. Make sure to include deep charecters with history and motivations and such.

Tf does "ywn" even mean?
@@klickonthat5244 it's short for "you will never"
Fun fact: if you want to be cuddled by a dragon waifu, there is someone who wants to cuddle you as a dragon waifu. All it's gonna take is some animatronic parts, a scalesuit, and knowing who to ask as well as how. Hard? Absolutely. Impossible? I mean maybe, but with a few compromises, good connections, and enough in savings, anything is possible. Have fun, internet traveler!

Dynamic is key.
I've noticed that in my demon gardian, the checker pattern you see on skirts, tie and bow tie are "shared", as in if you try to continue a line from one it'll connect with the next, you can clearly see it at 2:26 where the background girls' skirts seems to fuse together, you can also see it at 2:09 where you can still draw a line between the "outer" and "inner" side of the protag skirt
Sorry if what I typed seems unclear and for talking so much about highschool girls skirt, it's just what let you see what I'm trying to say the best

Are there any alternates to webtoon where I can get possibly paid for? If not are there other alternatives that don't have brainless content like webtoon has?
sobs, if someone makes a fantasy fufillment of something i made like a ship i would sob 😀
10:42 Hold up! I saw a webtoon behind him named The Dickheads. IS THAT JUST ME OR ARE MY EYES BUGGING????
Tourist to your channel, have you seen Frieren and thoughts on it if you have?
bro got shellshock form lore Olympus
A poorly done story and even characters could be excused if just the setting was interesting.
If you took the first bland story and made it like the world of Soul Eater. Then at least you'd have an interesting background to enjoy.
It's like Naruto filler. It's 90% bad, but you can still enjoy the unique jutsu. It's a waste of time. But an enjoyable waste of time.
I will never get over Usagi Drop. It's like the mangaka was possesed by some evil spirit and tried to ruin the entire story in the little time he had left. We all now have to see those early chapters in a different, more disturbing light.
I just saw that book on the left at Walmart.
Isn't fantasy fulfillment the same as wish-fulfillment? I am new to fantasy fulfillment.
Do you think you'll ever cover "For My Derelict Favorite" ? I want to hear your opinion on it,
So you're telling ME, that I can make a story about bug girls and I won't get hate for (mostly) if I put effort into it?...
Nailed it
