I was shopping for my first camera and gear, and I saw specifically that blue MePhoto tripod on sale at B&H for $80. I was on the fence because I thought it looked kinda gaudy, and almost wanted to spring for the silver one for almost double the price, but the way you expressed how happy the color made you convinced me to just go with the way better deal. The blue color with the silver Nikon Z fc I settled on might make for a pretty weird looking set up, but I think I am gonna love it, lol.

LOL, I was thinking about my tripod journey - not dis-similar to yours, albeit much more protracted. I ended up in almost the same place too. I use my trusty 20 year old aluminum Manfroto at home and a Benro carbon for travel (slightly different model). My fairly recent change was to put a Benro head on my home tripod so that I can use the smaller Arca Swiss plates. I also added the Peak Design Clutch to the camera - it's a little side strap I find useful that attaches with an Arca Swiss. I don't have to ever take the plate off the camera to have it with a neck strap, side strap or tripod.
I love, when watching these videos, that you don't just throw money at gear because it's a business expense - you think it through (and far more thoroughly than I ever did).

I love your system. I find myself changing plates a little too much. Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate the comment!

Sweet breakdown. $150 for the multifunctional aspect is not bad at all. Wondering if you’ve ever tried the Peak Design. Absolutely love their straps.
Keep up the amazing vids and shots!!

I have never tried the Peak Design. Is it worth the extra money? Thank you for the kind words.

Tripods are so challenging to find one I can rely on.

Hi, I was just looking trough the reviews for this tripod and came across your video. The video was short and was quite informative, Thanks for it. Can you tell me how is it holding up. As this will be my first time buying a tripod, getting more confused browsing through these tripods in affordable price range. I hope you have used it well, so if you can share your experince( Pros/cons), that will help me a lot. Thanks in advance

It has held up very well. I use it very often and am very pleased with it. The pros are all of the features and cool colors. The only con is it at times I wish it were a little taller, but it is a small travel tripod. Thanks for watching!
