Amsterdam Schiphol airport actually has SIX runways, more than any other international airport in Europe. As you quite rightly admit, taxiing time to the more far flung runways can take a wee bit of time but luckily you usually don't have to wait long to takeoff once you get there.
The Brazilian airline manufacturer does make a good quality product. Embraer should be rightly proud of their history when it comes to building smaller short-haul and narrow bodied aircraft.
Totally love this channel and the way you summarize flights especially the ones TO krakow :) PS: where is that place with deers at the end? a park near krakow or a different city?
You were saying about how busy Amsterdam Schiphol was, but it is also one of the 3 biggest European hubs along with London Heathrow and Paris CDG. Inside the ATC at Schiphol the man in charge will tell you that 80% of passengers who fly into The Netherlands main airport will NOT go through the exit doors.
This not being your first time in Poland,I'm going to guess that somebody in the jazzguy/jazzmom family has Polish ancestry--no clue as to whether any relatives still live there or not--decent weather both at AMS and KRK,blue sky and sunshine! Interesting at KRK,no snow but boom! instant snow in the closing scenes! Was that a toy store/antique store combination? Since Poland and the Netherlands are in the EU,am guessing the euro is the currency,no need to go to a currency exchange--the remark about that KLM 190 going to Brussels,a half-hour flight--with Europe's excellent rail system, you would think taking the train would be more sensible and less stressful. No telling how the Covid-19 pandemic has changed European air travel--here in the US,inflight catering seemingly has become extinct--if one wants something simple such as a soda or coffee, forget it! Bottled water only!
Hey, just found your channel today, you’ve got yourself a new subscriber. Just one thing: In my opinion the subtitles are a little too big. I’d appreciate if they were a little smaller and wouldn’t cover that much space (maybe just make it 2 lines max) :)
in the united states only regional jets board by stairs at hub airports such as dc reagan, dc dulles, denver, charlotte, san diego, new york laguardia, and portland
I think you and your mother are both amazing. Thank you for uploading.
Awesome trip report. The snacks they provided was very good for this short flight
