For future reference, here’s how you tame animals: Wolf: Nah, you got it. Cat: Cod/Salmon. Stand still, let them come to you or they run. Horse/Donkey: They reject the saddle. You’ve gotta ride them a few times till they stop bucking, and start making hearts, THEN you can give them a saddle. NOTE: Donkeys can have storage chests attached to them, but not a saddle. Breed a donkey and a horse to make a mule, which can have storage AND be ridden. 2ND NOTE: Apparently Donkeys can be saddled. ( Mules are still faster, in general, I've found) 3RD NOTE: Horses have different speeds, jumping abilities, and health, just an fyi. Turtle: Can’t tame them. Can’t leash them... Put them in a boat, and use a leash to drag the boat. (If you jump enough up a hill, the boat jumps too... oooor use stairs/slabs) NOTE: If you want babies, read below... Baby turtles: 1) Pickaxe with the silk touch enchantment. (This’ll make sense further down) 2) Shears. 3) Use the shears to collect sea grass (underwater plant, looks like the stuff you break to get seeds, only under the water) 4) Feed two turtles sea grass. One turtle will go to a specific sand block and start digging. NOTE: turtles will ONLY use the block they were born on to lay eggs. If you move/build over/break the block they were born on, they WILL NOT lay eggs. 5) Once the eggs (between 1-4, on the same block) have been laid, use the silk touch pickaxe to mine the eggs. DO NOT use a pickaxe without silk touch, or you will destroy the eggs. NOTE: Turtle eggs are delicate, you can break them simply by standing on them. Be CAREFUL. 6) Place the eggs on whatever sand block you want. Keep in mind this will be the ONLY block they’ll lay eggs. 7) Wait. Turtles only grow and hatch at night, and it takes about three nights to hear the cracking of eggs. 8) Enjoy one of the cutest mobs in minecraft, because omg they’re so tiny and cute! Bonus: When they grow up, turtles will give you something called a Scute. Fashion five into a hat, in the same way you would leather or iron. This gives you a few more seconds of breath underwater. vr looks fun until you realise how hot you get in it, the eye strain it causes, and the pressure it puts on your head combined with the uneven weight of the headset.

Sad that this didn’t achieve the usual goals of going to the fortress and end and stuff, but it’s satisfying that you spent pretty much all 100 days taking advantage of the building side of Minecraft in VR. Quite a pleasing and amusing experience to do in VR, even if it was boring in the moment, the payoff was quite good. Loved the video.
I thought it was very refreshing that he didn't just want to fight the dragon like every other youtuber. His noobness is refreshing. I have played minecraft for so many years so it's nice to live vicariously through him.
You got to craft a fishing rod and get some fish then stand very still and the cat will slowly come to you but if there's any sudden movements the cat will run away great vid btw

For future reference, here’s how you tame animals:
Wolf: Nah, you got it.
Cat: Cod/Salmon. Stand still, let them come to you or they run.
Horse/Donkey: They reject the saddle. You’ve gotta ride them a few times till they stop bucking, and start making hearts, THEN you can give them a saddle.
NOTE: Donkeys can have storage chests attached to them, but not a saddle. Breed a donkey and a horse to make a mule, which can have storage AND be ridden.
2ND NOTE: Apparently Donkeys can be saddled. ( Mules are still faster, in general, I've found)
3RD NOTE: Horses have different speeds, jumping abilities, and health, just an fyi.
Turtle: Can’t tame them. Can’t leash them... Put them in a boat, and use a leash to drag the boat. (If you jump enough up a hill, the boat jumps too... oooor use stairs/slabs) NOTE: If you want babies, read below...
Baby turtles:
1) Pickaxe with the silk touch enchantment. (This’ll make sense further down)
2) Shears.
3) Use the shears to collect sea grass (underwater plant, looks like the stuff you break to get seeds, only under the water)
4) Feed two turtles sea grass. One turtle will go to a specific sand block and start digging.
NOTE: turtles will ONLY use the block they were born on to lay eggs. If you move/build over/break the block they were born on, they WILL NOT lay eggs.
5) Once the eggs (between 1-4, on the same block) have been laid, use the silk touch pickaxe to mine the eggs. DO NOT use a pickaxe without silk touch, or you will destroy the eggs.
NOTE: Turtle eggs are delicate, you can break them simply by standing on them. Be CAREFUL.
6) Place the eggs on whatever sand block you want. Keep in mind this will be the ONLY block they’ll lay eggs.
7) Wait. Turtles only grow and hatch at night, and it takes about three nights to hear the cracking of eggs.
8) Enjoy one of the cutest mobs in minecraft, because omg they’re so tiny and cute!
Bonus: When they grow up, turtles will give you something called a Scute. Fashion five into a hat, in the same way you would leather or iron. This gives you a few more seconds of breath underwater.

Uhm, you can neither leash boats nor drag them up, but you can lure turtles with seaweed.
@@neyte7313 Actually you can leash boats. Idk how long it's been a part of MC, but I did it just the other day while working on a riverside village. I tied a few boats to a dock with a leash and a fence.

Sad that this didn’t achieve the usual goals of going to the fortress and end and stuff, but it’s satisfying that you spent pretty much all 100 days taking advantage of the building side of Minecraft in VR. Quite a pleasing and amusing experience to do in VR, even if it was boring in the moment, the payoff was quite good. Loved the video.
