I've listened to this on Facebook about 20 times already, and it is STILL so powerful for me. Glad I found this because it's something I needed to hear.

This video has made me realize just how much I want to become an equestrian. I'm 14 and have never learnt to ride, but I truly feel a connection with horses. That probably sounds really cheesy but I believe it's true. I've been begging for lessons but my parents just think it's a phase. My goal in life is to one day own my own farm with horses and listening to this just made me want to achieve that goal so much more. Thank you
And remember, if you get to be with horses, always stay calm. People that has been with horses their whole life, but are often stressed, usally doesn’t feel as much connection to them as calm people do.
Even if it's just a phase like your parents think, ask them about lessons and don't give up on your dream. Even if you take them just six months, just a year you have some experience and you know if you really want this! It's important to try out things to get to know what you really love and really want to do for the rest of your Life. If they don't allow you to take lessons, search for a barb or riding school, take your pocket money and maybe just try it out and try to convince them after that that you're sure you want this and yeah... Sorry my English is pretty bad, but go out there and take those lessons if you really want to!
Try telling your parents that it will become a phase if you dont get to be with horses and learn cuz thats totally true i always love horses most when im with them. If its a log time since ive seen a horse cuz i was traveling or something im not as excited as i am if i just saw a horse cuz then i wanna do more and never leave the stables
This makes me hungry for my goals. Makes me want to get up in the saddle and TRY AGAIN. I've felt this ever since yesterday when I got off my horse. (The training was done for the day) And I just felt that I didn't do enough. Even if it was time to quit for the day, I just wanted to get up again and try once more. Even if it meant that my muscles would be so tired they'd cramp. It's this feeling I want every time I get off the horse. This video gave me more of that feeling. Great work of this video :)
Same. I would not have stopped but my horse is so stubborn and frustrating and annoying and weird but I love him with any my heart I feel we really have a bond and I will never ever give up on him and sometimes I feel like he’s the most stubbornness horse ever and it helps my to know that everybody has problems with there horse And when he finally gets over that full caveletie ( I did know how to spell that I just sounded it out ) I will feel like he’s the most successful horse in the world 😅 He knows when I’m most frustrated with him he will TRY and I give that And I hope some day we will just *click* I hope you see this and I hope it helps!!! Idk 😁
This is really something i think i needed to hear and i will continue to listen to it. I had a bad accident on a horse a couple years back and ive still been riding and all...but i find that sometimes while im riding, if something starts happening even if its as minor as me losing my stirrup while im just cantering around the arena...i will find myself starting to tense up and almost panic without me even knowing about it until i stop and realize that im barely breathing and im super tense...its something ive been trying to work on but this video pretty much sums up what im trying to work towards
This is well made and everything just fitted together perfectly To those you don't think equestrian is a sport then let me tell you this, about a year, I fell of the horse I was riding after we did a jump... got trampled on and landed on my tail bone... (not fun) by a 17.2 hands gelding the only reason I fell off was because someone's parents phone went off making the chestnut horse spook a bit making him trip over and then I'm on the floor though unlike some horses how they just leave ya by carrying on cantering or something when he calm down he actually came back to see if I was alright, first time a horse did that for me when I have fallen off and let's say that isn't my worse fall within my life of riding horses. One of the worse fall I have had, I was about 8 years old, i was in the outside area and the sand was frozen, at the time I just started to get confidence to ride in a group lesson, I was the youngest one in the lesson and I was riding on this dark chestnut mare called cocco. She was such a sweetheart. Anyway, in this lesson, there was larger horses within the lesson and one of them left a large hole in the soft area of the track, within the trot, cocco had tripped over within this hole and fell onto her back with me on her, she had went head first before walking off, as a 8 year old, it was scary as fuck when an animal three times heavier than you crushed you underneath their weight. Thankful, I didn’t break my neck or get paralysed from that fall, after that fall I was sore and I chipped a bone in my knuckles but that was all. If that fall was any worse, I wouldn’t be here, I would either be dead if I had broken my neck as I had landed on it weird or I would of stopped riding and would be too afraid to get back into the saddle. Anyway to those people that say 'oh it's easy, there isn't much to do about it' 'it's painless' let's see if you can fall off an animal that's three times and more of your weight and height but just jumps back into the saddle like nothing happened? YOU wouldn't be able to do it because YOU can't take the risks and pain to go with this sport.
this is absolutely amazing. i had a tough lesson and i really needed to hear this and i have another lesson tomorrow and i feel so confident. thank you so much for creating this video.
