Oriel, Im 37 and single, Ive dealt with trauma and mental illness. I think with mental illness, ive just been trying to get my life on track, i dont a career or anything. I took care of my elderly father, who died in December. Now im staying with my mom, and hoping the northern 10 tribes go back to Israel. Im not sure when Ill meet a girlfriend, im just praying i get one, but my life is more messed up than yours, maybe. Stay strong, sister!

It has been about 6 years of waiting for me, and I’m 38, aaaaaaand still live with my mom lol. 🤦🏼♀️ I’ve been in several relationships ships over those 6 years, truly believing one of them would lead to me walking down the aisle… but to no avail 😩… and worse yet, the heart break almost took me out several times. Oh look at your sweet little cat :( … I have 4 :) they are my constant companions as well as my dog. What a beautiful story. Thank you for your vulnerability and for sharing, we learn so much from one another when we can be our authentic selves. During these very painful life events, in the eye of the storm, we can never understand why this happens to us, little do we know, these are blessings in disguise, the greatest lessons and growth comes from these times. I can very much relate to what you said. We need not external validation, but internal validation. It’s very hard to do, I never knew how to love myself , to be honest most of my life I hated who I was( childhood trauma, a difficult life and abusive relationship) the validation I got was from people pleasing, but I gave so much of myself away and I ended up becoming extremely exhausted and unwell. I always put my needs last. I knew things needed to change. I had to work on loving myself as I never believed what anyone said anyway and I had been let down by people my whole life, it was up to me to fill my own cup, I needed to look deep inside myself and stop those constant negative thoughts about myself and look in and see my truth. I realised that my validation didn’t need to come from others because no one really ever knows you. I worked with a healer, a similar spiritual experience happened and I was filled with the warmest, brightest light I have ever seen or felt, the light and heat came into the room from the sky! It travelled through the window and it went through the top of my head and out through my feet, I could even feel the bright light pouring out of my eyes, something I can not explain. My healer witnessed this and was crying as she saw this miracle happen. She said to me you should see your eyes, they are glowing! They were too, they were huge, sparkling and you could see into my soul. That was my wake up call, I was touched by something very sacred at a time when I didn’t know if I wanted to live anymore. I understood that this is all about my truth, being open to look deep within myself and I knew I needed stop the nonsense, the horrible conversations I was having with myself, it wasn’t even the truth. I was able to put my insecurities aside and look at the beautiful things about me. I am beautiful because…. and everything came to me, I realised that if judgement day was to appear in front of me at that moment, I could stand tall in front of God and that he also knows my truth. I have no regrets, no bad blood with anyone,there is nothing to apologies for and everyone in my life that I care about knows 100 percent how much I love and care for them and I’d do anything for them. I realised I do not need to justify myself to anyone anymore because it truly doesn’t matter! I realised it was never about what others thought of me, my actions and behaviours and the way I treat people should be enough and if they think differently then hey! I am the one that has to live in my truth each day and from there if there is something I need to improve then it is up to me to fix it, I take accountability. I was very blessed to have had my prayers heard and it changed my life. It’s sounds weird and people may think I’m crazy but I don’t care, I was very lucky to have been given such an insight into myself with the help of a higher power. I now live life feeling free and I’m very grateful for all of the blessings in my life. ❤ life can be hard, but if you work hard to get through the difficult and uncertain times, push through the anxiety, panic attacks, depression… (been there too and it sucks) the disappointments, heart break, tragic or horrible events that happen, we get wiser and more resilient :) keep on working on yourself. I’m sure that the events of the past few months as horrible as they have been, have in a way helped many to see life in a different way, weather that is a good or bad thing, I do not know. I think you are a very beautiful soul, inside and out, I think you have a certain aura around you, like you were chosen to be here on earth with the purpose to serve people, to help and teach people about how to be a good human being. Hi Oriel - what beautiful visuals! When it comes to "I love you because..." we sometimes work hard to maintain friendships and romances. We think (rightly or wrongly) they only love us because... I'm not really religious, but perhaps for Jesus there is no because - his love is unconditional. To me the implication of these words is that you should be yourself with others, don't be someone you're not - but whatever happens, Jesus will be there one way or another for you, always. I completely agree with you, I think that loving ourselves because has a lot to do with allowing ourselves to be exactly who we are without having to change the essence of who we are. Oriel, Im from Canada. Im a gentile christian that believes in keeping the law of Moses. I try to eat clean food, the 10 Devorim are in focus lately, i keep shabbat with a small group online, and I try and keep the Moeds too. Sukkot is hard to keep, for me, because i dont know anyone here that believes in Yeshua and keeps Torah. Shalom, from eastern Canada!
I think that everyone should live their lives with honour to God, in whatever way that that looks according scripture. It’s wonderful that you are connecting to God in a way that you understand.
Hi Oriel - what beautiful visuals! When it comes to "I love you because..." we sometimes work hard to maintain friendships and romances. We think (rightly or wrongly) they only love us because... I'm not really religious, but perhaps for Jesus there is no because - his love is unconditional. To me the implication of these words is that you should be yourself with others, don't be someone you're not - but whatever happens, Jesus will be there one way or another for you, always. Well done on teaching the cats to walk backwards. I'm glad they weren't eating... Take care and thanks for such a deep and interesting video. 😺😺😺
Hahahaha, that would be very cool if I could teach cats to moonwalk. I completely agree with you, I think that loving ourselves because has a lot to do with allowing ourselves to be exactly who we are without having to change the essence of who we are. It does take quite a bit of time to learn how to honour yourself, as well as other people while cheering their growth on, but not compromising on the truth. Thank you so much for being here

My dear, u r living a contradiction, how can u be alone when Yessou3 lives within your heart, nothing can break when Christ is beside u. When weak men walk by a strong diamond, more often then not they keep on walking not realizing the strength and the worth of that diamond. Your best days r ahead of u and your worst is behind. Be like israel, the world is against it and yet the lord is along side of it, victory is around the corner staying the course is best strategy. I love the cats although a dog or two would ad to the family unit.
