I honestly think the transition was pretty genius. Having a slowed down version of the ascending part and giving it a second to ring out so the moment you realize whats about to happen it happens
Since the clean audio came out, I’d listened to that version. Once this came out, I listened to this version. All of the transitions I thought were unnatural or just didnt quite hit the mark on tone faded out of my memory, so I think it is due to listening to the short version often.
