Harderwijk

Wat een leuk stadje is Harderwijk. Mooi gelegen aan het ‘Wolderwijd’, een van de randmeren van Flevoland, maar zelf natuurlijk in Gelderland gelegen. Leuke straatjes. Mooie en soms verrassende pleinen, sommige met volle terrassen op de zonnige dag dat wij er waren. Aardige winkels ook.
We hadden zicht op het Dolfinarium, maar uit principe gaan we daar niet binnen kijken naar shows met deze dieren. En dan natuurlijk de haven en de Vischpoort met daarachter de prachtige Vischmarkt (zonder vis overigens). Al met al de moeite waard voor een bezoek. Wij waren er op 7 juni 2023.
What a nice town Harderwijk is. Beautifully situated on the 'Wolderwijd', one of the peripheral lakes of Flevoland, but naturally located in Gelderland. Nice streets. Beautiful and sometimes surprising squares, some with full terraces on the sunny day we were there. Nice shops too. We had a view of the Dolfinarium, but in principle we do not go inside to watch shows with these animals. And then of course the harbor and the Vischpoort with behind it the beautiful Vischmarkt (without fish, by the way). All in all worth a visit. We were there on June 7, 2023.
