Dwarves were definitely overnerfed. They have no way to kill armies, siege hammers aren't worth it, Moria reclaimed continues to be useless and they've lost their flavour, to hold the line outnumbered with elite armies. They don't even have the mighty catapults.
I disagree, erebor is a really strong faction still. They're not op for sure, but redoubt units and/or iron hills are still really good. They also have quite easy access to quasi unkillable vault wardens, which makes that start really hard to cope with
@@pumba9098 The problem is they are waaay to expensive for what they do. Have fun to turtle until you can get Ironhills in this spammy/harassy meta thats going on. Grimhammers that can counter this die to one archer instantly. Vault wardens are a very risky start cause they just tank and don't do any damage. They don't have a strong enough economy to spam IH or VW. They have a good late game strat but their early game is garbage and can't keep up with the spam that other factions can throw at them.
@chankaironfoor5582 I have a 1v1 replay, vs Almghandi (I think) in which Vault warden start, forward mines and wyrm slayers work fine vs. Lorien. I know from a stream from Isirion that Adivassi (if I recall it right) won from Old Noseys Rivendell and pracitcally made it impossible for Nosey to play by starting with Vault Wardens, so I do think Vault Wardens are not too expensive to start with. I'm not sure if Mordor would not be able to overthrow the play, but that's more because Mordor is too strong then that dwarves were overnerfed. VW are an excellent counter to trolls and Nazgul btw. In team games, I tend to combo Redoubt play with dwarven rangers and stuff, to pop up behind the archers, which makes it a really interesting style to play.
Ty for the cast RuudDevil! This was a fun and challenging game, and a change from which reign I usually pick since I've always preferred how Ironfoot looks and feels to play.
Nazguls may be able to handle giant flying monsters, but barrels are the specialty of Bilbo the barrel rider.

Mordor may have gotten away with the start but they got 6 creeps while taking no damage
Acccctuallyyy don't trolls loose the ability to eat orcs for a heal once they pick up a tree? If so then using a tree is not always the best option
