Lol for a brief period I used to play MW19 on a 2002 CRT monitor and it looked fantastic! It was also pretty fluid thanks to the 85hz refresh rate. I ended up building a Windows XP machine to pair it with and play some 90s / 2000s gems with the original feel ❤️

Seeing CoD in this format and aspect ratio just seems right for some reason. I didn't play on PC when I was younger, but I was stuck with really old TV's before I got a small flatscreen from my uncle when he replaced his sometime in 2012.

I think I had this exact monitor as growing up my Dad swore by Dell monitors and still to this day I get Dell monitors. I have an Alienware OLED which is basically a dell as they bought Alienware years ago.

They were really overpriced for what they were. I actually used the same pair of Dell speakers for over a decade, I only stopped using them a week ago because they were black and I wanted white/beige speakers to watch the new CRT monitor.

I got a Samsung monitor about 7 years ago so it was my first non dell monitor in over 20 years and while it was fine there were a few issues with it and then I bought this Alienware Ultrawide OLED about 2 years ago so glad to be back with Dell. Back in 2010 I bought a Dell U2410H (have it to my dad about 10 years ago and it’s still fine) and the monitor had this extremely dull grey mark that looked like the LCD leaked or something but it was so hard to see and I emailed Dell about it, sent them pictures and they sent me out a replacement almost immediately. So it’s their customer service I like as the few times I’ve used it they’ve always been great.
I freakin' love it! But yeah, 144 HZ LED panels are my second option. I've been using the CRT exclusively for the past few days and yes, there are times where I do miss a 16:9 aspect ratio and such.
