The jig is a good idea to stabilize the lower end, but you shouldn't have to burp it after every single time that means air is getting in the system and it's allowing are to get into the hydraulic oil tank, I just ordered one to finish up a railing and I'll check it out, I'm really into this stuff so I I look forward to checking it out I get it on Saturday good video though dude

Thank you! I was having a heck of a time. Pumping it about 25 times to get it to crimp before I watched your video.

I should say I'm glad that the burping worked really good but that is definitely because of low oil or there's are getting in that system, of course it is not very expensive but I'd love to throw some new oil in it if I can enforce as much are out as I could, but great video and great tips

Great video on this tool. I've got one that's similarly temperamental. I try to crimp it with 20-50 pumps and it never tightens. I've opened the case, but don't want to really get into the oil bits, is there any tips to fixing it without complete disassembly?

mine is stuck in the "crimped" position - the release won't release - any advice?

I would use a channel lock it pliers and gently twist it to release. Then add hydraulic fluid. It’s probably low!?!

Dude, you are redundantly redundant by repeatedly repeating yourself.
