I just watched your video on the JJK ending because I'm curious and imma get spoiled eventually (great job on no big spoiled) I realized I respect Gege and me and him would get along amazingly 😂 Bro stood on buisness not caring about his fans. Pretty based. even he hates the good guys characters of his own story which is where I relate because most of the good guys suck. Thank you for making actually excited for the rest of JJK to get animated. They can improve it like AOT or they keep it bad from what I've heard and I can laugh at it. I now cant wait for JJK to come back😁
This is exactly how I feel about the jjk ending, despite the fact that people are saying we should respect the ending we got, I think it was lacking a proper conclusion. I think there was so much potential that was lost because it was rushed.....
Yeah he straight up doesn’t care about the story or fans at all, like I’m so pissed with it, but if it turns out the was genuinely sick(he had to be hospitalised for appendix surgery apparently) then I’ll forgive him, cus he wanted to get the story over and done with, however the story itself is still a 6/10 at best and I can’t just say “ah well gege your story is good because you were sick” or something like that. So disappointing I used to love jjk so much….
Gojo practically felt like the true protagonist of the story, but his death didn't have the impact that is fitting for a main protagonist. Gojo's first death and the death of people he cared about caused Gojo's personality to mature and develop, but it felt like he had one more step tontake to become his fully realized self. Like a final return from "death" where instead of acting high and unhinged like the first death, he realizes the weight that is on his shoulders as the strongest. He realizes he has been treating things like a game even though everyones life is at stake, so he has a final battle with Sakuna, perhaps tag team with Yuji to take him out. Of course, with some epic new technique that he learns when Sakuna "kills" him, similar to unlocking reversal red + purple and reversed cursed technique. Making Gojo the true protagonist would even be a twist in itself. But thats not necessary, just give him a satisfying conclusion. The fight against Sakuna also just dragged on. Too many developments came out of nowhere, which is a sign he had no direction for the ending and was therefore unable to forshadow things properly. But being disappointed in an ending means the rest of the story was good, otherwise nobody would care. It's just a shame, though. Also poor mechamaru. He got done dirty :( That was the coolest mech fight out of nowhere.
I don't think the ending was HORRIBLE, i mean there was nothing really grand to unpack on the last chapter but sure he could've put in way more effort...It was so unsatisfying. Most of us knew Gojo probably wouldn't come back and if he did it'd be really hard to make it seem like it wasn't bad writing, honestly the only thing i looked forward to after it got kinda sucky near the end but Gege gave us so much false hope into making us believe he does and completely shatters us at the end, , which is cruel but that's just how Gege is. JJK had so much potential, when he announced it would end in 5 chapters i hope he didn't force himself to have complete it within that time period before he had everything planned out. It's sad how he probably had to rush it I'm sure he had a lot more planned for it but it was probably due to the toxic fanbase who ruined jjk for others and himself. He had everyone so much to look forward to at the beginning and its upsetting how he couldn’t live up to that and that it fell of because of his dislike to his own manga and wanting to rush it for some reason… probably cuz the fans forced him to add stuff he didn’t even want to making him lose interest and trail off from his initial idea..maybe that’s why the end was confusing because he said before he started jjk he already had a proper plot and ending prepared and the extra things kinda threw it off, and he was probably too lazy to redo the ending (?) It’s honestly saddening to see how much more he could expand jjk content with the amount of plot holes, a jjk 2 or spin off would be great, but unfortunately gege doesn’t like his own book enough to do so.
Nah this is an awful take. Gojo wasn’t teased to return, Gege just had to show him flashbacks to explain the plot more. Gojo’s death was always supposed to be permanent, which is why his afterlife scene is one of the best in the series. Also, we don’t need to know what Yuji’s domain expansion is called and we already know what it does. Yuji doesn’t know what it’s called and the point of it was to appeal to the human soul, sukuna’s specifically. That’s why Sukuna’s afterlife scene shows him heading north and starting anew (finding redemption in death). Also, Nanami and Gojo’s death scenes lasted just as long as each other (about a quarter of a chapter). It was fairly quick for both characters and it’s supposed to be. They were both taken out in battle and Yuji got revenge for both pretty much immediately.

1:59 this couldn't be more right 😂 i wonder if that was the satisfying ending he talked about
