It’s hard to imagine that so many people are experiencing this: depression, anxiety, mood swings, and so much more! Most of them believe that they are fighting these disorders alone. But, sometimes, it helps to show them that, even if you don’t fully comprehend what they’re going through, they aren’t alone.
It's literally everyone I know. It's hard to imagine many people NOT experiencing this. and yeah, people can try to help, but they need to understand that there's a crippling loneliness no amount of 'help' will cure. That's not anyone's fault, but it's important to keep in mind, that just being there long term (which most don't do) through the months and years, can help us from getting knocked back further.

Josh Groban is my all time favourite singer. His hauntingly beautiful voice moves me to tears. He sings with his heart. There are lots of wonderful singers out there but there is just something special about Josh Groban. When he sings he just puts me in another place, another time. I can't really explain it. God has certainly blessed him with an awesome voice.

Most people would be lucky to name one of his songs, while hearing him on the radio is about as common as seeing pigs fly. In the meantime, top 40 pop songs play over and over and over, with largely low levels of vocal talent and a lack of thought/meaning to their lyrics. He has a large fan base, but it's not 10% of what it should be.

It's been a difficult time for everyone in my family. He was married with four beautiful daughter's. I remember sing to him at night before he would go to sleep when he was a boy. The week before l.was visiting my mum, l told my mum that l was worried about my brother Joe, he was crying and that he did not want to be here. I did my very best to tell him that l would miss him we were both crying and he did promise me he would get help .l remember my mum said that he was at the doctor,and the doctor said he was suffering from nervous exhaustion so he gave him medication. I think he only took it for a short time dear xx The way l get through this difficult time in my life, l think of the happyes time's we shared together dear xx And l trust the Lord for every day of my life. I have always been impressed with the natural quality of your voice and that you are yourself and authentic. As a musician I see many people straining to sound like someone else. I always admired that you do what inspires you...or at least it comes across that way! I played a few seasons on The Voice and other things in studio and I know how demanding the business can be and I have been watching all your accomplishments. I always thought you deserved more recognition and now you really are getting a lot, so that is great. I teach music at a local college and I love watching the students faces when I have them watch one of your videos or listen to the timbre of your voice. I love this song, I suffer complex PTSD I always go down to the river near my home it helps with the mess going on in my head. I relate to this some so much
Sometimes I hear a "secular" song, and I think to myself, "That is an anointed song. I believe the Holy Spirit helped write that song." River is such a song. I knew it was anointed after just a few seconds of listening to it. I think Josh's songs show a lot of spiritual sensitivity, gentleness and compassion. This "raging world" needs more people like that and more songs like this one. When I watch the video, what it speaks to me is this: It tells the story of a lonely and broken person , who comes to know the Lord, Yah, Yahshua, is mikvahed/ baptised in the river, comes out of the water a new person, no longer lonely and broken, but whole, complete, and full of hope and joy. Yahshua (pictured as the kind, giant man who comes to sit beside him) will be with him forever, even though we can't see him with our natural eyes, (kind, giant man who sat beside him vanishes, ) The young man now has a new family, because he is now a child of Yah, and all of Yah's children, who live all over the world, are his brothers and sisters. The vast chasm that seemed to separate him from Yah and other people is now gone. No more separation- they are now joined together. He has found Shalom/peace. Halleluyah! So beautiful. So perfect. Love this video. This song resonates so much in my life. Whenever I feel lost or alone, this is exactly where I go: to the Spokane River where I find peace and tranquility. Not only that but whenever I'm going through the emotions my son-who is in Heaven-will meet me there by the river, take my hand, walk with me, talk with me and let me know everything is going to be all right. And the other reason all this resonates with me: I see so many fragments of my son in Mr. Groban.

I've loved his music for many years and have been lucky enough to have seen him perform live 3 times in Australia. Andrea Bocelli is another favourite as are the 4 men in Il Divo. They all sing similar genres.

Most people would be lucky to name one of his songs, while hearing him on the radio is about as common as seeing pigs fly. He has a large fan base, but it's not 10% of what it should be.

It's been a difficult time for everyone in my family. He was married with four beautiful daughter's. I remember sing to him at night before he would go to sleep when he was a boy. The week before l.was visiting my mum, l told my mum that l was worried about my brother Joe, he was crying and that he did not want to be here. I did my very best to tell him that l would miss him we were both crying and he did promise me he would get help .l remember my mum said that he was at the doctor,and the doctor said he was suffering from nervous exhaustion so he gave him medication. I think he only took it for a short time dear xx The way l get through this difficult time in my life, l think of the happyes time's we shared together dear xx And l trust the Lord for every day of my life. I love this song, I suffer complex PTSD I always go down to the river near my home it helps with the mess going on in my head. I relate to this some so much
Sometimes I hear a "secular" song, and I think to myself, "That is an anointed song. I believe the Holy Spirit helped write that song."
River is such a song. I knew it was anointed after just a few seconds of listening to it.
I think Josh's songs show a lot of spiritual sensitivity, gentleness and compassion. This "raging world" needs more people like that and more songs like this one.
When I watch the video, what it speaks to me is this:
It tells the story of a lonely and broken person , who comes to know the Lord, Yah, Yahshua, is mikvahed/ baptised in the river, comes out of the water a new person, no longer lonely and broken, but whole, complete, and full of hope and joy. Yahshua (pictured as the kind, giant man who comes to sit beside him) will be with him forever, even though we can't see him with our natural eyes, (kind, giant man who sat beside him vanishes, ) The young man now has a new family, because he is now a child of Yah, and all of Yah's children, who live all over the world, are his brothers and sisters. The vast chasm that seemed to separate him from Yah and other people is now gone. No more separation- they are now joined together. He has found Shalom/peace. Halleluyah!

So beautiful. So perfect. Love this video. This song resonates so much in my life. Whenever I feel lost or alone, this is exactly where I go: to the Spokane River where I find peace and tranquility.
Not only that but whenever I'm going through the emotions my son-who is in Heaven-will meet me there by the river, take my hand, walk with me, talk with me and let me know everything is going to be all right.
And the other reason all this resonates with me: I see so many fragments of my son in Mr. Groban.

This song is absolutely brilliant. Not only does it highlight his broad vocal range with colorful and breathtaking notes, but the lyrics are also beautiful. This song helps to remind us that we aren’t indestructible and are fragile creatures. Our feelings and bodies are very breakable, and this song empowers us in a way. It is very humbling, and also allows us to feel like it’s okay to not be okay. Thank you Josh. For reminding us that we are all worth it. For reminding us that it’s okay to cry. For reminding us that there’s always a future for us, no matter how old we are, and that there’s light on the other side of the wall. Thank you.

River....the streamflow of the river...for me, the flows symbolizes uncertain things, or challenges around you..when it is calm, there is peace, and when it is strong, there is challenges, obstacles, struggles and lots of changes...it is a metaphor of life itself.as in the Bible in Rev 22:1, a water of life freely given by God, and you won't thirst no more..water represents life..the stream flows of the compared to our lives ups & downs..& God will help us to overcome to feel the calmness ..once again in our lives
