That doesn’t change what she did, and that Scara’s feelings aren’t valid. She was never there, nor did she reach out in anyway, or check up on him. That’s a fact. Really enjoyed the video! ❤❤❤
I will always find it so sad that Ei won't remember him unless Nahida restores her memories...I so want them to at least meet again and understand the whole thing was a massive misunderstanding. What Ei did was wrong especially because she never explained herself to him just sent him off into the world letting him think he was abandoned for being too weak and not good enough for her meanwhile she thought that was the least cruel thing she could do for him instead of whatever discarding means. Probably dismantling him. She couldn't care for him in her mind, and she was grieving for her sister so much, so she was single mindedly focused on Eternity that she even stopped talking to Miko for hundreds of years. The her that has learned her lesson and is trying to repent her sins and do better and if she learned of Wanderer she probably would apologize or at least try to even if Wanderer didn't accept it at least her would know she never had the intention to hurt him...she didn't wish to assert control over him. Now it is likely they may never meet face to face and if they did Wanderer probably would avoid her or not say anything and she won't know him...and I find that so sad! I know Wanderer Has Nahida now as like a cool and loving aunt/big sis/Therapist, but I feel it would do him well to hear that Ei just thought he was too human, and it be too cruel to use him like a emotionless puppet for her goals. Why is Hoyo so mean to families? first Kaeya and Diluc and their broken relationship but at least they have the possibility of repairing it and then Wanderer and Ei but their situation is worse cause how is that going to work if Ei, the person who unknowingly hurt them the most with her actions (the whole Inazuma questline summed up right there) forgot them? aaaaaaah! I just want them to meet again now that he is in a better place and so is she. she hurt him while she was hurting and while I agree that even if she had good intentions, she still left someone who thought of her as am other alone is still wrong but like him she is trying to be better. they are remarkedly similar. Both were hurting and hurt others. became villains and then were shown there was another path. now they are trying to make up for it all even if it is hard. both are in better places where they can heal. My favorite part was Alhaitham checking to make sure he didn't go too far when arguing with Kaveh. Saying hr went too far when Kaveh was silent and sad and later knowing his words weren't taken too seriously when Kaveh just pouted and was a but upset, but not sad.

I hate the whole misconception between Ei and Scaramouche in game, cuz ppl do not get it. For example all the art I see of Ei being harsh towards him or where shes calling him weak and not good enough are so mischaracterised, in no way did Ei intend of hurting anyone even through the vision hunt decree (the harm was dealt by Raiden shogun and im 90% alot of it was unknown to Ei). Scaramouche was also only ever too "weak" in the sense he was too human to be a puppet controlled by her, having a puppet who has emotions that control him is not very efficient for the case at hand. That was the only reason why she never continues with him, but also he wasn't discared again bc he was too human compared to the other puppets. Scaramouche feels he was abandoned tho and discarded bc he wasnt good enough of strong enough for her. All of it is inevitable and nothing could really help it at all, its a complicated situation. This isnt a critique towards you its just a general statement. Ei is so mischaracterised, ppl dont get her like i do 😭

People are allowed to hate Ei for her actions, because her actions were cruel in every sense of the world. Not even talking about the hunt decree and its effects, the least she could have done was taught Scara about life (if not her she could have had Miko do it) instead of throwing him away without telling him why. She knew he had human feelings, but she was so caught up in her own feelings to care about the consequences of her actions. She was never a good archon, and she was an even worse creator. Her redemption arc sucked.
