  • Tony Robbins has met a lot of famous, influential and successful people. Presidents. Mother Teresa. Nelson Mandela. Yet for years, when someone asked him who impressed him the most, his answer was Mike Tyson.
Tyson’s journey is incredible, and in this interview, you’ll hear the story of his transformation in his own words. If you think you know Mike Tyson, you can’t miss this story.
    Who is Mike Tyson?
Mike Tyson is a former professional boxer and one of the best heavyweights of all time. He holds the record for the youngest person to win a heavyweight boxing title, which he did at just over 20 years old in 1986. He has been known as “Iron Mike” and the “Baddest Man on the Planet,” cementing his reputation as one of the greatest ever.
Tyson was the most accomplished boxer of his time, yet after boxing, he felt lost and alone. A series of arrests and addictions took him to new lows - but again he rebounded. After cameos in The Hangover and other movie and TV roles, writing several successful books and being featured in numerous documentaries, he’s found his footing and feels like a new man.
    Turning pain into peace
It’s no secret that Tyson had a painful, violent childhood; he learned to channel his anger into boxing. The rage that fueled his rise, however, eventually began to eat away at him. He had money, fame, success and power - but he wasn’t fulfilled. He was haunted by negative thoughts. He didn’t give up because he knew, “We’re a lot stronger than we believe we are.”
Changing his story wasn’t easy. His transformation was mental, emotional and spiritual. Today, he’s learned to look inward for fulfillment. He persevered and said that if he hadn’t, “I would have never realized this beautiful life.”
Mike Tyson learned to unleash his true inner power - one of love, not hate. He embodies many of the principles Tony teaches at his signature event, Unleash the Power Within. This revolutionary four-day seminar has been attended by millions of people around the world for its renowned, life-changing content.
Hosted by Tony and a team of leading experts across multiple industries, participants learn methodologies to break through all limits and create an improved quality of life with unlimited energy and passion. Each day of the event focuses on key areas of life to improve, including work, spirituality, relationships and health.
Celebrity attendees of Unleash the Power Within include actors Hugh Jackman and Gerard Butler, Grammy Award-winning musician Melissa Etheridge, television host Maria Menounos, rapper and songwriter Pitbull, snowboarder Shaun White and professional tennis player Serena Williams.
Now available as an immersive virtual event in addition to an in-person event, Tony Robbins and Unleash the Power Within are reaching more people than ever before. With record-breaking attendance, virtual events have drawn crowds of more than 30,000 people from 195 countries.

@@vjm5246 You are wrong. Tyson over and over again stated that Cus was his world, that he was madly in love with this man(not in a sexual way ) and that he adored him since he considered him as his father that made him feel special. What drove Mike as a boxer was the desire to make Cus proud. Keep in mind that Mike grew up with no love and care of his parents. However Cus was the only person that could reach and inspire him since he believed in him while his mother thought he was a hopeless case. What makes Tyson cry is the fact that he doesn't understand that he was chosen and ordained to be one of the greatest boxers in history. He still doesn't grasp what Cus saw in him and how he taught him greatness.

What Cus saw in Mike was a physical outlier. Weighing in at 97kg at 5 foot 10 /11 and being the size of fully grown man at 13, Cus recognized that Mike could be world champ immediately, that was Cus's job / life's work. Mike's body / muscle development was nothing short of astonishing

IWD420 Amen brother and that woman is a Lady - you only see her but not can’t hear her - but she works and she works - humbly quietly but in a sophisticated way - a very intelligent woman in deed - thank u Mrs Tyson for taking care of bussiness- thank you for taking care of our champ for us - on that year I was 20 plus years old but didn’t mean anything until my champ came through then the number became all important for me
The brother who can talk freely about all his misdemeanours just like easy because you taught him how to love himself WOW

@none of your damn business don't tell me the old chestnut that she has her share of his money because she motivates him or even worse keeps him grounded.
      1) a man is meant to be self-sufficient.
what kind of a man are you if you need a woman for motivation? it's your goals and your dreams, not hers. she can't inspire you to reach them, she can just help you do it, but you are supposed to find the inspiration that you need in your own heart. what kind of a man are you if you need a woman to stay grounded? that's pure immaturity. the thing is that a lot of women prefer their husbands to stay immature, so that they (women) could serve as some sort of an emotional crutch for their husbands. this way they make sure their husbands will always need them and thus will be affraid to lose them. thta's cruel. if you love someone, help them become mature, but don't allow them to stay childish just to make sure they'll always need you. I believe that's what's going on in Mike's marriage. His wife acts as if he's a big child, he cant even give a freaking interview without her breathing down his neck and controlling the situation. I see it as her way of keeping him immature, so that he'll perpetually need her.
      2) my understanding of a relationship is that it's a place where you share something good that you have with your significant other. it's not a place where you mooch off that person. i find the very idea of letting a woman sponge off me humiliating.
Btw, I'm myself a male right supporter, in a way, currently in the process of digesting the red pill. and I'm a fan of Mike Tyson as a boxer.
