This battle was amazing. The music, the cinematic and the intensity of the fight, the moment when Torgal comes back to save you. Just beat it literally just this moment.
I kinda missed that feeling. It almost sounds inspiring towards the softer part of the song. Like you can actually overcome these terrifying forces of nature that are the dominants
Keep coming back to this, it's beautiful. It feels like modern Bach or something, like it's orchestral yet I find myself humming the main melody all the time. So good.
This game and its OST has me feeling like I'm 12 again and in awe of how far it can take the medium of games, and the chorus theme legit has me tearing up, and I'm not sure why. FF16 is everything I could ever ask for as an adult, and is a reminder of why 6 and 7 had profound impacts on me as a kid, like - they showed me how to dream, and think outside the box, and tell a story that went beyond myself. I couldn't be happier that we're getting this in 2023, I'll be playing it next weekend and I can't wait. The R rated adjustment and it having dialogue that's realistic in comparison to my own life is just so exciting. If this game ends up being my favorite game of all-time, I won't be surprised. I love Super Metroid, FF3, SOTN, and FF7, but something just feels uniquely special about this game. Seems like it's going to tell me a story I really need as a 39 year old, and if it does, I can't thank it enough. The music and battle theme as so good - they're as impactful as the old midi-style themes from the cartridge era, but orchestral.
Yep, this battle theme is awesome in the purest sense. Just incredible and goes from a slow, almost frail feel to a grandiose, exciting and just hype feel when the chorus comes in. Absolutely brilliant.
That's disappointing. I thought it was amazing because it seemed to capture Benedikta's inner turmoil/rage and vulnerability so perfectly. Was hoping for each character to have their own theme but still beautiful nonetheless.
The Official Title is "To Sail Forbidden Seas" You can play it at the Orchestrion in the Hideaway once you get 2850 Renown, aka doing pretty much all of the sidequests.
@@C_Train74 This was the 1st time I fought her without the rings and its pretty easy, her attacks are easy to dodge. I didn't do a great job here. The game in general is easy without the rings.
@@AntLion1995 I tried fighting a normal fight without the ring right after I beat Titan. Then I got hit in the back from offscreen a couple times and slapped that ring right back on.
About an hour after starting the game I was thinking "wow, this music sounds familiar. I swear I can hear some FFXIV in there, did Soken compose this?" (Checks credits) "Oh hell yeah"
Very well made battle theme. Masterpiece in the first half But questionable decisions were made. instead of keeping up the paste the composer chooses to slow down heavily to a point that it's an entirely different theme and doesn't match the tone of two Dominants tragically trying to rip eachother apart. Then it gets good again.
Yeah definitely. I died right before phase 3 because I started the battle with no potions. Almost disappointed to see my potions refilled after the restart, I would have had the attacks memorized 😅

"Fuuuuuuuuuck!!!" Lmao
This Game will be so Nostalgic in couple of year.
For real, it’s the best FF since 12 or even the og’s for me.
FF16 👍🥰
this theme is amazing! easily up there with the best!
This fight really gave you the feeling that you were too weak to face her, she almost killed your doggo, but damn how the tables turned.
Just beat her and the bitch almost killed me

Exactly how I felt, thought I was about to have my ass handed to me

Man of wise words, the real reunion of our planet will happen and you will be one of the chooses to be part of the light 🍀
Amén brother and I completely agree with you 💯 already my 2nd FAV FF game thus far 😊❤🎉(FFVII OG is my #1)

Am I the only one who can hear time in a bottle from 1:34
I mean, that part is taken from FF14, Eureka theme
This seems to be the general Eikon battle theme now
Indeed, about 2/3s through the game and I've heard it in 5 other bosses. I feel like Hugo Kupka should have had his own unique boss theme.
@@AntLion1995 out of all the repeats I think Kupka in particular sharing a theme with Benedikta was a good choice.

How EIKON-ic! 🤭🤭🤭
@@Rio_Yeti_ They all have inner demons, to be fair.
This part was awesome!!!
Did anyone else feel bad for Benedikta when she said "She's gone"?. She sounded shattered. Great job to the voice actor I suppose.

This fight is a bit harder in the main game than it was in the demo without the Garuda and Titan abilities.
Without the ring that makes every dodge a QTE, I would not have beaten this fight as early as I did.

first difficult fight in the game imo
