DeSales University Act 1 Presents : Picnic by William Inge

DeSales University Act 1 Theatre opens its Main Stage season with William Inge’s Pulitzer Prize winning “Picnic.” The women of a quiet neighborhood in a small Kansas town are preparing for an annual Labor Day picnic, when a handsome young drifter happens along. The next 24 hours are filled with plenty of choices and consequences, romance, broken hearts, regret, and changed lives.
This classic mid-century comedy is directed by Associate Professor of theatre, Steven Dennis, and will be presented September 26 to October 7 on the Main Stage of the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts, Center Valley, PA.
