So maybe some that got this recommended to this was listening to something similar. Could have been listening to your favorite guitarist lead you to him play. comments saying this is disrespectful. Like, if it was played the way it was meant to be played many years ago...all the time...then well, sorry to say this, but I think it would get a bit boring. I love the US just as much as anyone, but I see no harm in being creative and playing the national anthem on any kind of instrument, from a trumpet to an electric guitar. There's literally *no* harm in it whatsoever, It's still the national anthem.
