The hospital - in the USA at least - is required to call the police while the assault victim is still in the ambulance or hospital.

More clues for the clueless: Boiling water down the back? No texting going on as mom should already be in jail for assault. Victim wouldn't be in any condition to have a long text conversation since boiling water would certainly have caused nerve, tissue and possibly spinal damage. You can't terminate someone else's health insurance.

If her favorite child said that he worked from home, she probably would have listened to him. She couldn't comprehend that her daughter, who she viewed as the lesser of her kids was actually capable of doing anything with her life.

It's amazing how much information is available on the internet. For years, I filed my taxes on paper because I didn't like the idea of having that information on the internet. When I was able to get a copy of my return from the IRS website, I realized that it didn't matter because if I didn't put it on the internet, the IRS would.

"But Family" and "Familial Dispute" are excuses that still hold true to this day. But I'm guessing her burns weren't too severe and healed quickly. She was enduring so her father could rest easy knowing his family wasn't suffering. But I'm sure the father is happier knowing his daughter isn't suffering anymore. I know it sounds stupid, but in her shoes I'd also attempt to make sure a report isn't filed since it means I'd get away faster from such worthless excuses of humanity. No lasting injuries (mom seems like the type that wouldn't have the patience to let the water boil up to truly extreme levels of boiling) and now has a partner by her side that loves her. Ignore the leeches that are no longer sucking away at your life.
Umm she'd get away faster by having them in jail.any boiling water even a slow simmer would cause 2nd to 3rd degree burns. Its over 100 degree boiling water would melt the skin off her back, or cause it to slide off. expose muscles & nerves no way she could text or talk. She'd be in emergency surgery, skin grafts. The police would of accompanied the ambulance and arrested them immediately (no way they could claim she, the victum did to herself.)
