I'm 18 years old now, but I remember my dad buying this record when it first came out back in 2007. This song in particular was one I always listened to. While I'm not the biggest fan of their newer material, their first three albums, but especially "The Way of the Fist" and this song have a special place in my heart. You can hear the pain in Ivan's voice and it's sad, but beautiful at the same time.

They’re not remastering. They’re Re-Recording. In a sense, they’re Remaking the Way Of The Fist. Whether everything is a faithful 1:1 Remake remains to be seen. Or Remake in the sense of say Resident Evil 2 or 3. Either way I’m excited.

As I grow older still, now nearing my parents’ age when I was but a child, this fantasy has joined the rest of my juvenile mind in being stored away for memory’s sake. As I approach the final years of my life I’ve come to learn that the only thing adults hid from us was the truth that no matter how many times you down vote or dislike a Five Finger Death Punch music video that RUclips will continue to put it into your suggested tab.
You can really hear the vocals being less clean and how his voice has really, not filled out but gotten so much more deep/rich over the years. Neat to throw back to a song I have no heard in a bit and compare it to so many songs I have heard from them over the years.

I got a divorce 13 years ago and the soul still kind of new! I have a brand new Nissan Titan with surround sound! I would drive as fast as I could screaming every lyric to the song as loud as I could till I lost my voice! I ended up having a mental breakdown that took me 10 years to get over it! Depression is a mother fuker! The only piece I could get was screaming the lyrics to this song! Every single word was unfolding before me word for word!

I'm 42 years old now about to be 43, if I can go back 13 years ago and have a sit down with myself I will try to warn me!
Ivan's voice is different it sounds more in deep tone. It has always been a deep dark song to begin with. It's a sad song with meaning. I'm glad to see them in the studio again recording old and new. Maybe they'll have another documentary about their new album Death Punch Style! 👊
