I hope y'all enjoyed today's video ;) I decided to film a campus tour of UCF. I went around the majority of the campus and showed y’all different buildings and some classrooms!

Watching this makes me so excited to come here. Im a junior in high school and this is my top school for forensics. Im sad i can't visit campus in person because of corona since i live in michigan, but im happy i found this.

What other schools did you apply to for forensics?
I applied to ucf thinking it was just another florida school. I got my acceptance letter and im checking all these videos, and boy was I wrong. Definately going to ucf.
i'm a freshman in highschool and me and my bestfriend are both in LOVE with this college. thank you so much for giving a tour because we were trying to get some more visual of what it looks like inside and see how big it actually is. thank you so much!

I personally love florida, weather is beautiful a lot of the time & there’s a whole bunch to do. UCF is also very populated so you should feel comfortable

Thanks for providing this content. My daughter is a HS sophomore in Iowa. We recently visited USF and FAU but due to COVID 19 we can't visit UCF in July as planned. Hopefully she'll get to visit campus in the near future, she's a volleyball player. Take care and good luck young lady!

Good job with the video! You made UCF look cozy. I worked in the business building as a student over 25 years ago. Great memories, even though we didn't have most of the things you showed in the video (i.e. I graduated before the student union was built, and the football team still played downtown in the old Citrus Bowl stadium).
I'm sure, from the looks of you, that there are still lots of pretty girls at UCF :-*

The 2nd biggest university in the nation. And it continues to grow on a yearly basis. It is why some use the acronym UCF as Under Construction Forever...LOL.

Nice, this school is one of my top three. Also, would you recommend using a bike here since the campus is so big or is everything walking distance?
everything is walking distance on campus, it just may be a long walk lol, so a bike would be nice. Ucf now has something new called spin scooters that you can use around campus, but as far as going off campus, i recommend driving cause the grocery stores are not walking distance.
Also just another question, what majors are you doing at UCF? I feel like you said this already but I just want to make sure

Nice campus thanks. They should pressure wash the grounds and buildings though bc it takes away from the beauty of the campus. This video really helps with the visuals for potential or incoming students! Great job 😊

On a scale of one to ten , how diverse would you say UCF is (meaning how well it represents EACH minority race ) . Also , how would you describe the culture inter racially ? Do different races mingle with each other or do they have their own “groups”? I’m really interested in the demographics and diversity because I want to go somewhere were I can mingle with people from every culture , not just black or white.
UCF is in Orlando so UCF from 2019-2020 enrollment was 47% white, 27% Hispanic (mainly Puerto Rican especially post hurricane Maria and economy in Puerto Rico), 11% black (got some Jamaicans, Haitians, and other West Indians), 6% Asian (mostly South Indian, Guyanese, Trinidad, Filipino, Vietnamese), 4% International students, and Arabs. Orlando area is very Caribbean influenced (just like New York City) so a lot of the minorities here are Caribbean. As for how they move on campus, everyone be themselves, I don’t think anyone here cares about race as long as your cool people. If you come to UCF and decide to explore off campus, you’ll definitely experience that Orlando is very Caribbean where you’ll find a lot of Puerto Rican’s, Dominicans, Cubans, Jamaicans, Haitians, Guyanese, Trinidadians, Bahamians, Brazilians people and businesses around.
I was a student at UCF in the early '90s. The school was much smaller, but the demographics were basically the same. Lots of Caribbean blacks and Latinos then also. We used "wind it up" with the soca music. And you folks don't know anything about "Boom Bye Bye!" :-D

Im sad im probably not going to get in . I have a 4.66 gpa and im in IB but my Act and Sat scores are too low. I got admit i should've focused more on Sat and Act.

It's a nice one. The bottom floor is mostly underground so its very cold down there. They re-did the main floor a decade ago when I was going there so there are plenty of places to study and form groups and collaborate with white boards.

Is there any art buildings or something related to that? I haven't watched the video yet but just wondering before I research more, a couple months ago me, my sister, and my mom went to UCF to look at a couple of buildings, but we never went to see any art stuff

there is no dress code at ucf lol, you can wear whatever. But of course it has to be appropriate. ooo girl i’m excited for you, i love shopping online before the school year 😍

hey! ucf is my #1 college. is north view open to freshman? also, what housing units have their own bathrooms for each student/room?
hello! northview is open to freshman. in towers you have the option to get your own bathroom and also in the majority of the other housing you have the option to do apartment style and get a 4-4 so u have ur own bathroom. but with reg dorms u have to share a bathroom.
Do your dorms go off where your classes are or you just pick anywhere to stay

lake claire isn’t far from everything, it’s kind of in the middle in a way. as far as stats if i remember correctly i had a 3.7/4 gpa and my sat was like 1200
and no, everyone doesn’t dress nice to class, a lot of ppl just wear sweats and hoodies, including me

How hard is it to get into this school? I know it has a +40% acceptance rate but how does that translate to your grades and SAF score? Do I still have a chance if I’m an A student with a few Bs?
yes you definitely have a chance with those good grades, tbh i applied almost 4 years ago so i’m not sure what’s changed but when i applied i had a 4.3 gpa and was an a-b student with some AP classes and some dual enrollment

with ucf if you want your own room and bathroom youd need to get an apartment on campus. As far as collegiate students i'm not 200% sure but ucf does accept AA degrees

i’ve personally never been inside northview but i heard it’s really nice but rooms are small and it’s expensive to live there

Dorothy Jules northview is considered an on campus apartment but it’s a little farther than the other campus housings, it’s more by the arena, a little farther from towers. definitely walking distance from classes
