Jayateertha has been the contemp Kirana leaders for some time now. Here he amazes with this typical Gwalior Sohni cheez- so much made into a bench mark by Kumar Gandharva & later his daughter-disciple- Kalapini. Jayateertha has been less forceful in spirit & tempo compared to Kumarji- but he shows his own style too! Thanks for all your Jayateeertha uploads- & others too..
The gusts of power in gamaks were Kumarji's speciality. Packing such awesome bursts of power were Kumarji's trademark. Why should Jayateerth copy that? why should we even expect that. Jayateerth is a genius in his own right and will mature with age and experience.
