Local surf rock band The Ventures inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Legendary Northwest band The Ventures finally "Walk, Don't Run" into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Their instrumental hit “Walk, Don’t Run” defined an era and inspired countless kids-and several future legends- to start their own guitar bands. But, for many years, The Ventures, co-founded by Don Wilson and Bob Bogle, were something of a footnote in official rock history.
