Other countries will depend on what resources he has in that country. So if you have friends who are interested, spread the word and I'll revert your requests to him.

@@galapagosj3021 A lot of us but from monkey mods, maybe supplying them is an option? Anyway, thanks for your efforts! You've given us great insight. Ohh.. What's your thoughts on stainless steel barrels?
Hey David, I'm still talking to the maker and it seems there are quite a bit of interest for the hop-up set I mentioned, he might be interested to sell some. Regarding stainless steel barrel another user actually asked me the same question, so to keep the answer consistent, I'm going to copy and paste my answer to him for your reference. But at the end of the day, any experimentation is great. Answer: "I'd say any material that is heavy enough to reduce vibration would be good. I haven't tried stainless steel before but I'd imagine it to be a lot more difficult to modify compared to copper (other than cutting to length, you still need to polish and bevel the exit ends of the tube). Stainless steel is much too hard and requires a lot more machinery that my work shop does not have. Copper is still soft enough that many of my hand tools are able to deal with. The consideration would then be, is it really necessary to have an inner barrel at such high tensile strength? Inner barrels don't experience any wear and tear anyway, so as long as it meets the need of reducing vibration and it doesn't get affected by water (rusting), easy to modify, then its already good enough. That would be my consideration when selecting a new material for inner barrel tubing. It's always good to experiment though, let me know what other materials you discover in the future!"

Great video, quite informative. From all 4 sweetheart which one is you recommended for standard gearbox which fps less than 260fps? I would love to buy all 4 but seem like useless if i am only use 1 number hopup.
For myself, I go by this principle, the lower the FPS, the higher I go with hop-up. 260 fps is relatively low, so level 2-3 for the sweetheart should be good.
Thanks for the great content. You mention that you hold the new hop up in place using electrical tape. Is this the manufacturers recommendation? Have you noticed the hop up becoming loose or sliding off after some time?
Nah, its just my own solution. It really depends on what inner barrel you are using, some might be so thin that you might even need to thicken the outer diameter of the inner barrel so that the hop-up can fit snuggly. But at the end of the day, gel blaster isn't as prevalent as airsoft, so a lot of the solutions and methods are all trial and error and there aren't really much official documentation out there. I've been playing with gel blaster for close to a decade now, so I might have more strange solutions than others, lol.

Hey Ka Doink, yes I am waiting to see how much interest can be generated before I revert back to the hop up guy, hopefully I can get him to start selling it in Oz.
Actually that's a very good point, because it goes back to that question I mentioned in the accuracy video, what is your application for the gel blaster? Your playstyle is much more important when considering what upgrades to use. Personally, I still apply hop-ups even if I play CQB arenas, especially our own. We have ranges of up to 20m that require quite accurate shots. Without the hop-ups, your first shot might not hit the target and once you pulled the trigger, you would have exposed your position. So in this case, hop-up is still quite important if you like sneaking around and shooting from afar. If you just rush and spray, then hop-up isn't that necessary.
Has anyone done any experiments with rifling the barrel (for better spin), or re-visited using airsoft style hop-ups (they might work better now with the harder gels on the market). - Just putting it out there
Spherical ammunition require the Magnus effect to help it gain the up spin to ensure the trajectory stays level (or slightly up), rifling is more for long cylindrical ammunition and will not help gel balls. Airsoft guys have tried that stuff and the general consensus is that, its more a hinderance than a help. It seems that rifling has a detrimental effect on the trajectory for muzzle velocity beyond 90m/s (approx. 297 fps). For gel balls, although its possible to hit that muzzle velocity no problem, the gel balls deform as well and are pretty soft. I'd imagine it'll get shredded up as it travels along a rifled barrel...
@Galápagos J - Ok, thanks mate ,that was a very in depth response - much appreciated. Still could be worth looking into the second thing I said though.

The ones I use and promoted work pretty well for me, what problems did you have with them? With the different levels of hop-up, you need to pair it up with the right muzzle velocity / spring power. Also, a lot of other factors can affect trajectory other than the hop-up. The hop-up should only be applied as a final touch when everything else is solid, including properly prepared gel balls. The ones that have the steel rods are great, but they are much too big for me since it reduces my applications, but that's the only problem I have with it. Performance as a hop-up, its great.
