FLARM F4 is a carbine weighing less than 3 kg with a short gas piston stroke. This improvement prevents the products of gunpowder combustion from entering the weapon. Reducing heating and clogging of the shutter group increases reliability and increases the period of uninterrupted operation, also - reduces cleaning time and load on the main components.
The barrel of the FLARM F4 rifle carbine is forged from anodized 7075 T6 aluminum alloy. A Picatinny interface is provided for the installation of optical and collimator sights and other additional accessories on the upper receiver and forend. The lower part of the stock also has a Picatinny rail for mounting additional accessories, such as bipods, foregrip, etc.
The aluminum stock is quick-release, has a narrow profile and a M-LOK fastening system along the entire length for installing tactical accessories. The controls are bilateral, which allows you to quickly switch from the right hand to the left and thereby ensure comfortable use of the carabiner for both right-handed and left-handed users.
The Timney Triggers trigger mechanism is single-stage. The nature of the descent is short and gentle. The protective trigger bracket, thanks to the expanded space in the area of the trigger, allows you to comfortably work with the weapon while wearing gloves.
The FLARM F4 is available in barrel lengths of 11.5 and 15 inches. This model has a free-slung barrel with a carbonitrided bore and a 1:8 rifling pitch. DHA is installed on the barrel.
