A really humble guy. There are villages in Kenya where the most successful guy will neve come to 10% of what an average European/American makes. His gift was a blessing and I hope he continues to show us that no human is limited. Consistency and hard work makes you unlimited
This is absolutely crazy. When I still had my original right hip, I was an avid runner, and did have some days where I made it 20 miles. However, never in a single run, usually 10 in the morning and 10 in the evening. And when I was really pushing it, I did about 10-minute miles. This guy maintained a pace for 26+ miles that the vast majority of people (including myself) couldn't keep up for a single mile. Simply astonishing, and huge props to Mr. Kiptum for this accomplishment.
@@molder2233 It's funny you mention treadmill. A guy I used to work with was a marathoner, and he told me that at one race, a shoe company (I think) set up a big treadmill, set it to the pace that an elite marathoner keeps, and allowed people to try it out. He said that it was like a comedy movie; people would run a couple of steps and then basically go flying backward off the treadmill into all the thick padding that had been set up.

my best effort in a half marathon is 2 hrs and 15 mins and I cannot sustain the pace these guys (Kevin/Eluid) do over a half a mile. The clock races against these super humans. What an effort.!!!
''Kelvin, will these 3 marathons you've done so far suffice for your selection process''? Nahh, I don't think they'd take him after breaking a World record. What kind of question is that 😂😂😂
It was inevitable. Both elites but different generations.
