So like you may know or not know I recently got into The X Files. I am totally obsessed by it. And well... mulder and scully-- i just can't. But I think i even ship these two more.
I could fill this description box talking about them but I don't wanna bore you. Nor get banned from youtube and it would all sum up the same thing: "they did it."
No question 'bout that.
Their relationship feels like a fictional one but its not. OTP: FORCED MARRIAGE FTW.
I would have liked to include some text and article bits but it worked better this way.
When i finish my TXF rewatch there's a good chance some Mulder & Scully vids will pop up as well. But i needed to get vidding them out of my system.
I did a lot of research for this video and collected nearly 2.50GB of info about them.

I recently got a Macbook Pro. I was still gonna vid on my old windows Sony Vaio laptop so I could still use Sony Vegas but just when i cleaned up my hard disk my laptop crashed.
I believe my hard disk is broken so there is really not much i can do.
I HATE that i don't have sony vegas anymore. I'm thinking about buying a parallel software so i can install it on my mac.
Anyways.
Sorry for the crap video but i believe Gillian and david saved it with their cuteness.
This is basically the first video i made with FINAL CUT PRO X
and for the coloring i borrowed my brothers laptop and did some quick coloring with Sony Vegas (cause i lost all my saved colorings and i was frustrated with this video to keep on working on it while i should study for finals)

I spent all my childhood and juvenile period watching the X-files, so now when I look at them they seem to be almost like my relatives))) Also I read some articles saying that they used to have a very tense relationship during the filming but watching all those cuts and photos...they either deserve an Oscar for their "pretending" to like each other or those articles were just a nonsense)
I think the "tensions" are over exaggerated. Show me any close relationship that doesn't have occasional tensions, but they've clearly always adored each other.
This is the most beautiful video I have ever seen. Just finished the last episode after embarking on re-watching the entire series. So bittersweet and I will admit, I totally teared up watching this. SUCH a good job!! Thank you for creating this gem.
No, not everyone has sexual tension, as she says as she evades the question. Evading questions & "just holding hands" says it all.

How in the world they are not a real couple is beyond me. The only thing that could help this pandemic time is them getting together for real. That should bring peace to the world.

This show is literally timeless and the chemistry that David and Gillian has had me hooked since I did my first watch of the series back in 09. Thanks for the cute video. I was a huge XPhile back in the day (late 90's) and this really takes me back.
There was a fan theory that we had back then that Gillian and David hooked up in late 1996/very early 1997. They attended the Golden Globes together that year in January and were holding hands and being flirty and kissy. She was getting divorced from her husband Clyde at that point, and he hadn't yet started up with Tea.
It's probably bullshit, but it's fun to think about.
David dont you know that without that woman you would be quite nothing. You bouth created your images, but u couldn exist without each other so u should feel more friendfull to Gillian....

I heard recently that the two of them actually didn't like each other. They would show so much familiarity with each other in public, but privately, they resented each other.
+revacohen I think that was in the early days of The X-Files. If you watch them over the past two decades, you can see how much they care for each other. I don't think that the kind of affection they show can be faked.
ladygreyheart2012 They like each other now. Something must have happened that brought them together. But during the original X files, they literally didn't like each other, and towards the end, they couldn't wait to get away from each other.
Everyone says this, but just go back & watch some of the blooper reels & outraged from TXF. I'm sure there was tension & frustration at times (who doesn't have that with their coworkers?) but like someone else stated, that kind of affection/laughter/chemistry can't be faked.

I think they always adored each other, but in any close relationship tensions at times arise. They're obviously the very best of friends now.
