I don’t know if you noticed, but most of the women in Amaryllis’s village looked similar to her, with their dark hair and skin tone. However, what might’ve helped Gintaro and Kohaku, to a lesser extent honestly, a little were likely their exotic appearance, with their blonde hair and lighter skin tone.
They had to stone Tsukasa because if he was here he would have destroyed everyone and they would have won in 2 days.

They made a mistake not sending in Gen. I would have chosen him in a heartbeat if I was doing thr selection. They said it is because he is too tall which is odd to me since I am guy that likes tall girls so maybe it is not a widespread taste and I am in the minority.
Anime-only here, so this might be some weird, far-fetched theory/idea to manga readers.. but this thought hit me during the post-discussion:
Hear me out. Assuming we steal this petrification weapon from these islanders and assuming we get the platinum to make the revival fluid... how about instead of continuing the journey to Why Man, why don't we make a "quick" detour back to Ishigami Village? Senku promised Tsukasa he'd find a way to do the petrification and heal that fatal wound. I mean, it's not like he's BFFs with Senku, but I'm sure he'd be fine with going on the journey to find Why Man as well. Goals align. Plus, he'd help keep Hyoga in check!
Bring back the world's most powerful tag team! Tsukasa with a katana? Mm, ain't nobody stand in their way.
